Noob v9 just appeared

Yes, they are fricken nice...I like them best over noobs...but as I put them next to gen and keep going over the pictures....noob hands are closer to gen. It’s one of those things where it’s a preference, you really can’t go wrong either way.

Sorry, thanks for clarification you are correct, in the example I had provided the noob is swapped for gen hands installed...Have to look at my other example or I can just take pictures of what I own since I have all three...but even at those photographs you can see that the gen hands aren’t so 3D ish... the effect is the reflection of the white gold...

It is, I prefer the ARF..been months and still can’t source it

Just received my Noob V9 Hulk and the Rolex engraving around the watch race is uneven... one side is touching the watch face and then it is almost centred as you get round to the other side.... a pretty big giveaway! Anyone else experienced this? If so, do you know what Noob are lie at rectifying what is clearly a quality control issue? Cheers

Yes this is a common issue with many ceramic insert reps no matter the cost. You've been quite lucky to go through 30 reps and not experienced this yet. Out of 8 high end ceramic insert reps I have, only the 2 Daytonas have not had an insert marker paint mod. And one of them is showing signs of needing it too.

What movement does your Hulk have? The SA3135 can be prone to having more issues than tbe ETA 2836.

This happened to my VRF HULK. The paint did not ware off, it faded away leaving empty number cutouts. It was a shame as it came with an amazing GEN looking insert.

Not sure I explained that so well.... I am talking about the name Rolex that is engraved over and over under the glass around the watch face.... it’s wonky! 1/2 in the middle and the other side right at the bottom... even my aaa is better

Actually the SEL came quite lose up/down direction, I need to find a solution to fix them, if I manage to do that it should look very good. I’ll post some more pics later comparing to my gen if you want

i would do the hideous crystal first...nothing screams rep than that. SEL's look decent.

I’m planning on doing a Franken with gen crystal, dwo, full full bezel assembly and gen crown and tube

already got the crystal and the bezel, going to receive all the rest in few days

Nice I’d pass on the crown and tube, spend it on a spongebob mod or clean fact insert, unless you go gen. The dial is what gives it away for me but they are pricey. No one will know about the crown and noobs are already good.

I see, nice setup brother! Your build sounds pretty good. My V9..gen xstal, bezel inserts assembly click spring, gen dial, gen dw, sh3135 serviced 3 years and going on strong...everything else is stock ..first batch of v9
