no but the first thing i thought of was how much of a mark up they have on their watches and how much money they would have made on one order like that. i can promise you that if they read this they will be pissed they missed this order. lmao :lol:

quick update,
just had a quick chat with hont. Great guy. In addition to telling me that i messed up on some pics of one of the watches he assured me that he would make all effort to photograph, check and ship the watches by this weekend.
SO far, communication has been SPOT on.

two years ago I asked Andrew to give me a price for 5 reps...he gave them to me...afterwards I've asked him what discount he would give me If I ordered all 5...and it was 5%!!!...I decided not to go with the order...5%, imagine that...it would be better if he didn't offered anything....and imagine what would be his answer if I ordered the 5 reps and if they got caught by the customs...

there was a minor problem getting the Cartier Roadster, so i've opted for the Cartier Pasha instead. Hont has assured me he's going to make best effort to get that for me and will have an update tomorrow.
As usual, communication has been constant and on point. Thus far I'd say this transaction has been flawless and I'm looking forward to doing MUCH more business with hont in the futrue

D4M is a great guy! I haven't personally done business with him. But based on my interactions with him he would be inclined to agree with your personal opinion.

By the way, the most watches I ever bought in one go were 6. 1 had a chronograph that didn't reset to 0, 1 was wrong, 2 I didn't like the look of in real life, and 2 were fine. So I am all in favour of big orders! Bet way to boost your odds!!

I am too scared to do this. Too many customs concerns and eggs in one basket. (literally) I have heard a few horror stories. I do hope all goes well with these orders but would advise on not doing it in the future.

I purchased six watches from him and they were all great - he sent pictures he even brought 7 count them seven different 3717 and let me pick the one that I liked best. His prices were great and I am very happy. After getting back home on the UPO I was not very happy with the position of the logo - slughtly crooked - it is the black bezel with orange numbers - somewhat common. I ask for a replacement dial and I mentioned the problem with my other UPO from another ahem cartel supplier and he offers to send me another crown too! THis is guy is fantastic and I am a loyal customer for life.
I had a business associate - new to the game - I gave him a gift and when he went back last week he purchased 6 from Hont as well. Hont - even met the man at the airport - he is the best!

Hey I was mostly joking. And I agree with you. In that case there were no customs issues because of my location and the location of the seller (by the way, I should clarify it was NOT Hont). I wouldn't do that from China to overseas...
Besides, the thing about big orders is that it kind of kills the excitement of getting a new watch. Has anyone ever seen a young child getting zillions of Christmas gifts at once and not knowing what to play with first? Eventually some of the toys end up never been played with at all and the child pretty much loses interest quickly. That's how I feel when I get more than a couple of watches in one go. I do like the excitement of waiting for the new watch, receiving it, scrutinising it, wearing it for the whole day, etc... It's a bit like savouring a couple of good bottles of wine slowly, versus skulling them in one go through a funnel!!
