last week the polish newspapers showed ( photoshopped ) pictures of polish players dragging around the chopped off heads of german teak members.

the Vodka loving - drunk Pollacks have not won a match against germany in 12 years.....and i so enjoy on ESPN how the Pollacks are getting their asses kicked

Italy dissapointed very much ! they used to be so strong !

yeah, the Pollacks...in 13 years....playing the EM they could only score 1 ( ONE !! ) single goal against germany.

but they have biggest mouth ever ! ( better said : they had ! )

Who cares? I know some of you guys love this sport but I just can't get into it. I has to be the most frustrating game to watch of any sport. It's way to wide open for me. A team can make brilliant plays all the way down the field just to have some jerk off slide in and knock the ball away. It just seems too random to me, not enough structure. Friends of mine tell me I don't see the game within the game pitting two great players or more for that matter battling it out.

I'll brush off the slightly rude comment. Actually I wrestled most of my life through college so I was in an individual sport but I also played football at a pretty high level in high school and loved it. I can't stand the lack of scoring, watching a ball being kicked around for 21/2 hours and nobody scoring is boring to me it seems too loose. Its like watching a NASCAR event. Even hockey which I'm not a big fan of is more watchable to me because of the speed. Maybe I need someone with real knowledge of the game to point out what I should be looking for while watching. I know plenty that hate American football and a lot of it is understanding the game. As soon as my wife figured out that I was always going to be a football fan she gave the game a chance. She can now watch football games without bitching too bad.

i never could understand football or baseball...the most boring game ever.

Gotta agree with seank1 on this. I'm from Europe with football (soccer) everywhere, but have never seen what is so fascinating with the sport. Too random, not enough happening. Then the american team sports (football, baseball, basketball) are much more interesting in my opinion. Even hockey is better in America as the rink is smaller, making it a much faster game. And let's not forget the fights. ;-)
