Very heavy watch.

Bezel clicks 24 times around the dial. Very solid feel when it clicks.

Alas, a screw would not come out and was ruined in the attempt. Some had to be pushed out instead of screwed out. Gotta ask Josh for a new bracelet.

Bezel needed some polishing with a soft cloth to get to shine.

Highly recommended!

A million thx for your photo!!! I wait for this for a week!

BTW; do you think it's real ceramic on bezel? My dealer keep telling me it's PVD only...
Also; so sorry to hear again the jammed screws again. It's the common flaws on Rollis rep....

Best Regards,
Raymond

Here's something interesting.

The GMT hand cannot be adjusted.

When I pull the crown out to the 2nd position and attempt to adjust the GMT hand, the hour hand moves. Turning the crown the opposite direction changes the date.

The date clicks over when the hour hand moves to 12 a.m.

sounds like there maybe a problem with it because trusty and joshua's site both say it is adjustable like the genuine.

Well, I didn't really understand how the gen worked.

Here's how it works:

Unscrew the crown. Rotate crown clockwise to wind the watch. Counter-clockwise does nothing.

Pull crown out the next position. Rotate crown clockwise to change the date. Counter-clockwise move the hour hand clockwise around the dial. The hour hand jumps (but does not "snap") from hour-to-hour. I've been told that in this position the gen moves only the hour hand, backwards or forwards depending on which way you're turning the crown.

Pull the crown out to the last position and adjust the time. All three hands move in concert.

The bezel clicks 24 times around the dial, either way. This is as per the gen.

So, Josh's site incorrectly lists the bezel moving in 12 clicks and the GMT hand as being independently adjustable.

Hope this helps.

Beautiful piece, Doc! Finally, genuine pics from an owner and not those over-perfect ones from the dealers. This is the REAL deal! Thanks so much for taking those pictures straight out of the box. :D

About the GMT hand being un-adjustable, I believe it's a Rolex thing where you adjust it by the hour hand instead. So I don't think you have a problem there.

One thing though, does the date always sit straight? I have the green Submariner and I find on certain dates (around the 22-26), it sits a little too low. Most of the other days are fine though. So I guess avoid wearing it on those 5 days. Haha. I wonder if the rep makers have fixed this problem yet cos I find it quite annoying. Happens on my Yachtmaster too... Just not on the same dates so I can switch them around.

Beautiful watch, very nice photos. Thanks for sharing. From what I know, gen adjusts as you have described - nothing amiss there - I think.

Does the bezel look and feel ceramic?

Congratulations. Wear it well!

Very nive watch Doc, congrats

I will buy one, but now I am in a Daytona trip...

I think there is a problem with these bracelets, may be a bad batch, the same thing than you happen to me with the former model (green date fonts) I ruined a link, the screw break inside and no possible to remove it and btw the link. I used my dremel

Sounds like ems courrier is very fast for shipping to US West Coast, to France is very slow right now, for my 2 last watches I had to wait 2 weeks

Thanks for the pics, Doc. I know a lot of people have been itching to see what these looked like. HK-- now that you've seen the pics, how does it look in comparision to your gen?

I got the watch in a week. Very fast.

I feel stupid about the link because I didn't notice I could have removed the one closer to the clasp. I could have avoided ruining it. :( Now it will look bad until Josh sends me a new one.

The date sits a tad to the right in the window. Not real noticeable, but there.

It's running about 5 seconds fast since last night.
