No. I didn't forget the good old days when I picked up a Sub rep in HK that ran on batteries. It was a novelty item then. Then the reps got real good in the past couple of years or so and our hope are high.

I do have gen Rolex'es and in my estimation they are way over priced. I collect reps for fun and am encourage that they are getting better all the time.

What I am really complain is the QC. I don't mind the rep is not a dead ringer of a gen but after putting a ETA movement and going all this length to make a 1:1 case, it seems that they would spend a few more buck to make the quality comparable to a $100 Invicta.

Really, no complains from me. Just a few comments. Life is damn good.

all vailid and true points.. yet, it is a safe bet, to me, that the QC is not improve.. not likely.. and the mistakes, and/or goofs, whatever.. will continue.. as will rising prices..

just the game we play

and we have zero influence on the rules.. or on the manufacturers...

is to me a 'enjoy it while you can' thingy..

well I think its too pricy for a watch with no QC they could spend more time and effort to make it better on the small things but thay could also not do it and charge less then $400. I dont expect 1:1 from a replica but I expect a decent price

Yeah, let me think about that one. Too late anyway, A friend bought it as soon as he heard it was available. Sold a seadweller today too so now I made up the cost. Still waiting for it to arrive...................Still waiting.
