Definitely V9. But I would ask for another dial-shot from a different angle. Datewindow looks weird... Seems like the dial is misaligned. Crystal sits correctly.

EDIT: Look at the date. Turn the dial right and the date will be perfectly centred. Through cyclops this effect is seen worse than it actually is, I think. Maybe Ryans QC-minister can do that quickly. If not: Change!

Yea, the date window looks really weird. I have asked for more pictures

With the straight on shot it's hard to tell, but SELs look pretty flush, no?

I actually am relieved now that smoke the man himself has confirmed that it's a V9. However after I received QC photos and before posting them here, I did request a QC photo at an angle that shows the SELs against LUGs. Just waiting on Ken to get me that before approving the watch.

Fingers crossed for you. Hope it's a good 'un.

Congratulations, buddy! This looks pretty nice. I don't think my AETA V9 will look that good. One week and I'll see...

Thank mate, can’t wait to get my hands on it but have to wait coz I ordered another watch with it and just turned down the QC photos of it on account of a crooked dial marker. So have to wait till Chazing gets a replacement for that before both watches gets shipped :(

Definitely a pretty piece of work and the lug shape and everything looks great. But, for me it's really hard to assess SEL height even with that angle.

Here's a gen 116610LN at an angle that shows the SEL height well:

My v9 date window looks off from the cyclops. Can anyone please verify?

Oh, it didn't get better... It IS off. The reason for that is not clear. If it's a wrong cutout then you'll never get happy with this peace. I would change it.

You may need to align the crystal... if the rest of the watch is acceptable just have a modder do it (they can't mod the SEL or lugs etc)

If it is the crystal, I won’t care at all since I am going to replace it with my black hole crystal anyway. But I am worry that something miss align from the dial or date windows

If that is the case, just ask for a new QC.

As I said before... Problem is the dial. Crystal sits fine.

Cyclop corresponds with crown

Here you can see the dial is not aligning with the crown

The problem is the dial. It is turned to the left. CHANGE THE WATCH ! ! !

EDIT: It could be easy to fix that. But it could also be a big problem. No one knows at this point. Ask Ryan if he can fix it.

The LV V9 I ordered about six weeks ago arrived yesterday, and has exact same issue with the dial. It’s just about .5mm turned to the left. It’s honestly unnoticeable unless you sit and stare at the face of the watch. I’d gladly accept the slightly off dial if the cyclops didn’t suck so much. Wow, I knew they weren’t great, but didn’t realize it would be as bad as it is in person. Def going to have to replace it with gen crystal.
Mine is also running about -30secs/day, so ignore whatever their timeograph is reading. Looks like it will be off for a service and new crystal at some point in the near term. Having owned a lot of gen subs over the last few years, I’ll say that while the watch looks the part, the fit and finish is no where as good as a genuine Rolex. But you’d pay a massive amount more for it too. Just don’t expect Rolex quality for $500 and you will be happy.

OMG

I have had a few previous version Noob subC and thought the dial was somehow skewed to the left, but chalked it up to being crazy
