i like the the ones with the apple logo and ipod - looks like a magazine ad now. that lume (seiko's lumebrite?) is a torch! i'm amazed that you can get that watch for 150 off of amazon. the quality on those orange monsters are amazing.

To give you some idea on how bright it is, look at the exposure time on the photo. The second hand hardly moved.

that is amazing. I've been close several times to picking up a black monster. is the lumebrite better than c3 superluminova?

I've read that it actually IS superluminova C3 under a different name, or that C3 is lumibrite rebranded... don't remember which, but they surely are very similar.

Well, if you double check the first post... It is NOT a rep!
You're right, there are no reps of monsters (wouldn't really be economically interesting and who would buy the rep of a $200 watch?)

I got mine!

This is my daily beater and puts up with a hell of a beating. Pugs is right, the lume is nuclear. It glows in anything bar full daylight and is still readable after a full winter's night. Everybody should have at least one Monster.

I've been interested by monsters for quite sometimes already.

Only thing that blocked me from buying was that the movement doesn't hack nor handwind... Makes it a bit of a PITA if you just wear it from times to times... (which would be the case with me... )

oh ok, i wasnt sure. I need a new crystal for mine. i bought it used for a great price because the owner had a scratch on crystal and the clasp lock would not lock. I fixed the lock all i did was bent it back alittle and whalla!

Yes the monster does have a nice lume. I work outside all day so it gets plenty of sunlight.
