First Purchase from Toro (ExpII)

Finally I pulled the trigger and for my first purchase I bought an Explorer II, black dial orange hand.

Monday 11: Ordered and and paid with my credit card, got the confirmation email

Tuesday 12: Got an email from Toro that the payment wasn't accepted, so we opted out for WesternUnion option and everything was fine.

Wednesday 13: Got the pictures from Toro and confirmed the order.

So far everything was great, fast email support, can't wait to receive, I will keep you updated!

I bought the cheapest option, was fine for me.

Was very close to buying same, but opted for the other movement as I have had 2 2813 watches before ... felt it was time to step-up. I got about 4 months out of one and the other lasted just shy of 3 years.

Paid yesterday and am just waiting on QCs ...

This was my first order so I went for the "basic" version, hope it will last long (if he will ship).

Update: Shipped Monday 18 and arrived today in Spain, which is the temporary location before it will be shipped to Italy, but no one was home and wasn't delivered.

I'm very disappointed because looks like I was played, been waiting for the watch 2 weeks and never departed for real.

I got a tracking number on Monday 18, from HK to Spain and it was delivered on Monday 21, so the next step was from Spain to Italy.

Instead today I got a new tracking again from HK, which means again at least 2 weeks waiting.

Hang in there Toro is a very good guy, he would not play you. These deliveries just take time and tracking can be so misleading.

I know is a good guy that's why I bought from him but this time there's no excuses, emails talks and he contradicted different times.

I got a tracking number on monday 18, it was delivered on monday 21 and I was waiting a new tracking number from Spain to Italy instead a got a totally new tracking number but from Honk Kong, so again I will have to wait it will arrive to Spain and then Italy, hoping it's my watch.
Maybe it will arrive but I don't feel right paying 60$ to wait a month, there was a mistake.

Update: The new tracking I got after 9 days was delivered yesterday in Spain (like the first tracking code I got after approving pics on January 18). At this point I should get another tracking from Spain to Italy, let's see this time...

You are not alone. Same happen to me. Today the 27th and the package is still stuck in Spain since the 21th due to a failed delivery and no response from Toro.

Thank god then, the first tracking code I got on January 18 arrived in Spain but first attempt recipient wasn't home as well. I got a new tracking code because he said the other one was sent by mistake and yesterday was delivered but still waiting the new code to Italy. I've all the email where he (or who is answering emails) contradicted many times.

I paid with Western Union, I don't even know if I can do something in the case I won't receive it.

Looks like many costumes in EU have a shipping problem with Toro at the moment. I have sent him a email, but no response.

Which can be ok since once the parcel goes into the company hands is not his fault, but my problem was different, I was waiting for something that he never shipped (or he did but wasn't mine) even if he say he shipped after my confirmation. Anyway, let's wait and see.

I have a understanding, if something move south. Maybe his contact in Spain got ill or had an accident and wasn't able to pick up the watches. I really don't know.

But Toro has to improve his communication skills. Even a short e-mail will help to calm down his customers.

I received the QC pics from my second order at the 20th and I have no tracking number yet. This is not the way to become the TD of the year.

How long will it take till Correos send the watches back to CN? Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling nobody will pick it up.
