Hi Guys,

I am looking to get my first rep. I don't want a very expensive replica as it won't fit within my lifestyle (wouldn't look right wearing a '£20k' watch.

Which models would you suggest based on it being reasonably believeable (ie entry level).

It has to have a rubber or leather strap, also can you please suggest those that seem to be most identical to the gen with the minimum amount of flaws!

Least flaws and entry level sounds like a diver v7/8? [emoji14]

What about a pam?

Do u think it is funny to wear a diver watch and u don't dive or do anything that needs time observation?

I'd go for the diver v7/8 as well. Maybe a TF 15400 if you don't mind wearing it on a bracelet.

What's wrong with wearing a diver watch and not going diving ? I've seen people wearing gen subs and SDs and they don't go anywhere near the water. It's just a timepiece.

I would reccomend 15400 JF version.
Diver is ok but 15400 more elegant.

I know this, however would I be able to do so privately? It seems unfair for me to tackle any issues in the QC pics, as I will not have a clue what to look for

Lots of info are available whatever watch you've decided to get. Just read. Personally, I'd go with the diver v7. There aren't many flaws with this watch.

May I know what's the different between v7 and v8 of AP Diver? I'm also thinking about v7/8 Diver vs. 15400

v7 has asian clone of ETA 2824 and v8 is a clone of japanise miyota movement... the 15400 is a totally different watch... not Offshore line, but legacy Royal Oak...

Big advantage of the V7 is the A2824 movement. You can convert that movement easily to a low beat movement.
It's not possible with the V8 miyota movement

ic. Personally I'll buy v8 rather than v7, even the back is covered, because the Japanese Miyota movement is much reliable and durable than the Asian A2824
