Latest GEN PAM233 appears to have a different dial

I'm possibly in the market for a GEN. The PAM233 always was a favorite, but I hated how the PANERAI logo looked "fake". It has a weird space after the PANER AI. Well, the current version comes with a croc strap but I also noticed that the PANERAI logo has changed to eliminate that space. Take a look!

Yep, likewise with my 233, although it's more like P A NER A I. It looks great to me.

Yep, same here. It's obvious they were just trying to make PANERAI exactly the same length as LUMINOR so they had to spread it out a little.

It looks like the Panerai picture might be nothing more than a mix of a picture and rendering.

The spacing on the 233 looks great to me as it is symmetrical.

How disappointing to see the R series pictures. Appreciate the link. Im headed to the gen store this week to see it in real life.

Saw the r series at the store. Has the same spacing as the older series. Oh well.
