Thanks Matt, that's what I've gathered in the last day. I would be okay with the Miyota, but I can definitely see the rep factories making an ETA based version of this watch due to the popularity and the new limited James Bond edition coming out... Maybe I'll keep my fingers crossed for a moment and see if better lume and an ETA movement comes out

I couldn't wait and bought one anyways. If a new version comes out i'll surely get it too.

Too bad there is no way to directly contact V6 Factory that I know of as this would be such an easy mod from the existing 300 master coaxial. Some markings on the caseback, bezel, and second hand. I'd tell them to improve the lume too.

I asked Ryan at intime if he had any insight on the V2/ETA possibility... It's only logical

I'm concerned that there will be an overload of M2M sales of this one when the Spectre version comes out...

Even if there was a Spectre model to come out, I wouldn't really think that so many people would sell the "regular" 300 model. Since the Spectre is limited to only 7 007 pieces it would put some people off due to thats' kind of a big tell. It's like with the LMPO, I didn't buy it (though it seems to be a spectacular rep) but it's hardcore limited and have a few tells. It would be the same story with the Spectre rep, if there were to be one to say.

The only thing that would cause a flood of M2M sales would be decent lume.

Dial and lume are totally different as well. Plus bezel on gen is bi-directional.

These miyotas keep pretty good time better than some of my Noobs.

Saw Spectre - my watch exploded in it!

Is the difference in sweep between the miyota 8215 (21,600 bph) and the gen co axial movements (25,200 bph?) very noticeable?

I don't see a "limited" edition of 7,007 as much of a tell. I have seen several for sale at ADs and have owned several gen LEs with significantly smaller issue numbers and frankly never thought editions of several thousand are really limited. It isn't like it is a platinum PO with only 8 made.

Or the Goldfinger Seamaster, they only made 1.

I agree. Look at the Hublot, AP, and PAM sections. Plenty of reps of special editions of 100, 500, etc. Not to mention the entire idea of Richard Mille reps. Their "biggest" production size was what? 25?

Or the Goldfinger Seamaster, they only made 1.
