Tried on the gen Ginza7 on vacation. Loved it. Just bought the rep. Do not have it yet, but QC looks good (approved). Figure this could be a low-key FC beater by comparison to my other FC models:
How funny been looking at for a while, just ordered mine aswell.......was thinking of a black 2014 rubber strap with a diver ember buckle??
As far as strap, AP has it sorted: rubber or croc (non-hornback). It is difficult for me to verge from their combinations, as, in the end, they are so well thought out.

Congrats J. That 7 looks far better than the early versions. The Ginza has always drawn me as I love the flat dial, but the first rep was such a poor performance I haven't even considered it. Great buy, and hope you had a great holiday.
He he, t, vacation was long, humid, and hot. Mostly vacation for me is DIY housework, craft beer, grilling, TV and painting canvasses of semi-naked women (no watch work). I did get a little curmudgeonly about the state of US society too. But that is a different story.
Thanks fellah. The gen is probably one of my top five APs. A friend had it for me to try out for a week. On the rep I figure I can relume the indices/numbers if the factory did not do a good job. They seemed to have fixed the "7" and some other things. I find, with old age, LOL, I prefer FC and Ti ROO cases. The SS reps are just too top heavy and fatiguing to wear.
I was wondering about the pock marks on the indices. Hopefully they've smoothed out with new batches. ;-)
Your QC looks good by the way.
The lume of the gen G7 has a strange patterning. It might be un-reproducible except through extreme micro-mechanical work. The gen, again, is beautiful.

Oh man! I am a huge fan of the gen! I fell in love with it when I first saw it. It's amazing. One of the best looking ROO IMO.

Hey fellah. I was not doing the rounds in Southern California (SD, La Jolla, Laguna Beach, Del Mar, LA, SB, etc.), but stuck in sticky Southwest Florida (Naples/Fort Myers). If anybody wants to come visit me in FL, I am there for Christmas/New Years. You all come on by! G7 is part of a massive and complicated order. With the Chinese holidays, I do not expect this to ship until maybe next week. So many more things need to be QCed, sorted out. With triangle shipping, well, you can see, I am not getting G7 until EOM, if I am lucky. Will post photos of course.
Which TD accepts paypal that I can buy the GINZA from? I emailed Toro but he has not got back to me yet and the pictures on his website is the V1...
