Pearl Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the pearl from the newer ceramic inserts?

Ive done it on the older ones with the small posts but these newer ones look like the insert will be more fragile due to the larger holes for the thicker post.

Looking for the quickest, safest, easiest way.

hold a soldering iron to it for a few seconds. it will pop right off.. just be careful not do do it over shag carpet. those little critters are hard to find if you drop it!

Nvm, I manage to get the pearl out with the soldering iron after touching it for 15 mins. it just drop off...

Just remove the entire insert using a hair dryer or soldering iron .when it's hot twist and try to move the insert.when it's loose try to get under it with a pin or a blade.pull out insert and push out pearl from the back.if u can't do that just heat the pearl and pull it up with a blade or finger nail.I normally pull the pearl using a rasor blade without removing the insert
