10 hrs power reserve

Is it normal for my watch to have 10 hrs PR? It's a Diver cer 2824 3120 decoration. Amplitude is 315.

You should get 38-40 hours power reserve from a fully wound 2824. If you have a sedentary desk job and are not fully manually winding, 10 hours can be normal.

I sort of adhere to the theory that the rotor is more of a maintainer rather than and accumulator. By that I mean if you only use the rotor, unless you are pretty active, the rotor will keep the watch running and maybe wind the mainspring a little tighter, but if you are sedentary, It's not going to wind it up like a manual wind. while some folks say never wind a watch manually, I disagree. there may be some that shouldn't be wound but I haven't seen them in over 40+ years of actively being into watches.
I wind all of mine initially when I take them out the watch box. I wind the ETA 28XX movements more than I would the a7750's but I do wind them all. I wind the ETA's about 30-40 turns, set the date and time and good to go. Also if you want to check the Power Reserve, give your watch a good wind, note the time, put it on your desk or in your watch box, check on it the next day, should still be running, probably sometime the second day it will run down. Note the time, and add the hours and you have a good estimation of the power reserve. I just checked an AP Rubberclad that has a Domi clean, service and jewel mod. It stopped running 47 1/2 hours after I put it on my desk. Pretty good for an a7750 and about what I would expect from any serviced ETA. I would be happy with around 40 hours, but anything much less than that would probably indicate to me that it's either not getting properly wound or there is something wrong with the movement.

If after a good wind, your watch continues to have a diminished power reserve, then I would suspect something is amiss.

I spend all my day staring at 10 screens behind a desk. I therefore am not very active during the day but my watches seem to wind perfectly and I get over 24 hrs power reserve. I never have to manually wind them. A 10 second shake first thing in the morning is all they need. These watches wind with a slight movement of the wrist. Even typing on a keyboard should wind them.
