Thanks for your impressions, but what is the logo you are talking about? I don't think there's a logo on the slob
By logo I mean "luminor marina" and "panerai" the gen is only slightly crisper. I'm actually selling one since I bought two. If anyone is interested please PM me!!

I just received the bead blasted PVD coated bronze case... Wow. The finish looks very gen like. The gen PVD finish is like a charcoal gray with black undertones that flash and show on the different facets of the case. Especially in indoor light. There is also a slight shimmer from the bead blasted finish.
This watch does a great job of recreating this finish.
Great CG with chamfered corners and nicely finished lever.
and finally... I worked with DSN on picking up this detail. The gen has polished and rounded corners like the gen Pre-V case. There was some slight over-polishing done which is great, but it needs a bit more. Perhaps in future versions.

The side profile of the mid case looks a bit too square imho, I think it should have a tad more of a cushion shape, can you confirm Grim?

Absolutely correct! That's what I was trying to describe above. The shoulders should slope down into the curve of the lugs, like the Pre-V case shape. Also the case edges should be softened more and rounded off. I am thinking about shaping a case and sending it back to DSN for him to use as a sample. Just a few tweaks and this case would be incredible. But regardless, order away. If I have time tonight I will be building my SLOB and posting some pics tomorrow night.

I have ordered a Slob from David san my first black Pam and a strap from mad dog with one of those rose damascus buckles,if you cannot spoil yourself who can you.
Received my SLOB from DSN last week and I'm loving the finishing of the case. Very well made and at certain angles where the light hits the finish is truly astounding. However, I'm not too sure if it will received enough wrist time from me. If anyone is interested PM me!
Superlume and sanding the rehaut to show the bronze. Im gonna age the case myself when I get it back.

Im not so concerned on accuracy on this piece. I just find it as a cool design. After reading a review of the gen, I want the bronze glow from the crystal too.
