Best vintage model to modd

Hi guys,
after wearing an ap15400 that looks to big for my small wrist, i'm looking for something different.
I saw a lot of model with the particular Oman Or UAE dial.
Now the question:
what is the model that, after mods, should be very closer to gen? i've seen for example the 1675 or 6263, but i appreciate every single advice if you consider other models.
I'm also interested in hearing any modder's name that you want to indicate me.

Blasphemy! How dare youuuuuu. Those are 2 of the most iconic watches ever made- you HAVE to like them!
JK bud. Go with what you like. Take a look at all of the Vintage Rolex models, figure what you like best and we can tell you which models are good reps that you can mod. Some take less work than others.
As said above RolexAddict is one of the best on the board.

but i'm firm, i don't like themI'm vero tempted by the 6263. Toro and other TD sell it for a vero reasonable price.

The best to mod with what budget? Phong's Tudor's aren't bad but they aren't perfect. A dial and hand swap fixes it right up.

the range should be between 250 to 500 Euro. For the 6263 is too low as range?

Dont forget to remortgage your cat and budget for enough prozac for the build.
If you have kids I recommend immigrating to a country where they can be sold into slavery for extra finance options
Consider switching your kids for your [hopefully attractive] wife instead - might be a better option since she will leave you anyway when the build is complete. Might's'well cash in whilst it's possible ¯\_(?)_/¯

i was looking for something like this.

There is no best one, only the next one. You can get a version of that watch from any dealer. Marvellous Replica has the best current price at $200. Your options for modding that without spending an absurd amount of money are limited. I'd just put a tropic 21 plexi in it and wear it. Mine has a DW dial, small sec hands, a gen plexi, and an Athaya crown.

1k isnt crazy bro. My current build is close to 20k I think 4-5k is a sweet spot for a 1:1 almost (and I mean 99%) indistinguishable from gen.

Cartel base = $1100-$1250 including the base watch will give you flat S bezel, gen spec dial, thin hands, case softened, and all mods associated with the parts to make them work.

Valjoux 72 base = $3700 to over 10k - just depends on how crazy you want to go. Obviously a 1:1 daytona at the top end of the range will be 10k (gen dial alone is 3k for non-newman).
