Will my BK Noob DSSD pass the test of gen owners

I will soon be going offshore with a load of bubble heads* these guys earn £1500 ($3000) /day and many own real DSSD’s and drive Lamborghinis (those that are not on there 4[SUP]th[/SUP] marriage!). Can I expect to be called out with my BK Noob DSSD without its AR coating on the glass (I heard the gen has this).



Other than that its pretty perfect, if yes where can I get mine AR coated?

No, Noob is not 1:1. Bezel is still vastly different. as the factory still can't get the paint color and clarity right. If your DSSD has a gen bezel then I'd say you're golden. Also remember, only the latest Noob version has the gen sounding bezel click. Every other version doesn't come close. That click has to be sharp and heard from miles away.

What if you get your BK DSSD waterproofed at your local rep friendly watch smith, and swim with it? Anymore "gen" like?

personally, i spot the reps by looking at the bezel teeth and then insert font cutout. there is a huge difference just by looking 2 secs from 2 meters away, even the newest noob editions.

safest is franken 16610 in my eyes. i couldnt spot on wrist

Im sure they dont know anything about rep tells or watches. They just know they paid a lot for a Rolex and thats all they care about. People always think gen owners are able to call out reps but in reality I doubt they care at all. My uncle bought a gen gold daydate from the AD let it sit on his nightstand and took it back the next day because it stopped working and asked them to change the battery. He spent 10K on a watch and didn't know or care what movement is had. He just assumed all watches were quartz and didnt care about the workings of the watch, All he knew is that he was wearing a "real" Rolex.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Like saw said above. This is actually a topic I've been reading about lately and looking into also. A lot of gen owners, just like Saw's dad don't have a clue on anything about the watch let alone being able to spot a rep. One of our members awhile back ran into a guy at a car show that had a gen sub on, and they started talking. The gen owner didn't even know what the bezel was for, so our forum member explained it to him. Gen owners from what I'm reading know the name. "ROLEX" and that's about it. Wear it and don't worrry about it. Go have it water resistance tested and then wear it in the water too.

You might be suprised some Rolex gen owner really know their thing. There are a number of Rolex collector who do their homework since they are into rolex collection and they know many rolex franken or fake widespread. I believe nobody wants to be in the situation of being call out.

What happens if you run into a pawnshop owners? Never take the risk and wear a genuine watch better, be it cheap or expensive.

Which Ad did You buy it from? What did it cost? New or used? Why did You choose the DSSD? How deep have You been with it? ...... think it´s more about having the right answers for the questions if they arise. And several pics would help....
