It is pretty amazing no one has pulled the trigger on this one -- I get that it has its issues (understatement) but usually a few guys buck the trend and pick one up. Not this time..

Without comparing it to the gen, this could be a nice and unique looking diver for some. But naming it the QE2 and producing it so far off vs the gen, that is going to debilitate sales of the watch. If we boycott this enough, they could withdraw it and make improvements, like they did for the Legacy sec@12 dial..

Not only that but the price is way to high for a crappy looking fantasy piece at that... Only calling it a fantasy piece because it really doesn't look like the QEII. What is it $460? Nahhhhhh...

We all know why they didn't make is as gen as possible! they gonna make a v2..v3..v3.5.. This watch will not be buyable until v5 or v6..

Nope ... It will never get as far as v5 or v6 especially if the V1 isn't selling as much, they know they'll be loosing money so I'm sure they'll make major adjustments in the next version (V2) or at least up to a v3. The only reason the SS diver goes up to v6, v.6.5 is because it was HOT and it kept selling regardless of flaws. Besides there is good competition now and the J12 factory seem to learn from criticism. Another reason why we all are hard on this Diver is because we have someone who has a Gen on this forum, thus very easy to compare/locate flaws and the J12 factory stepped up the AP game so this is like a step back but they'll fix it soon, I'm sure haha.......

I wanna get one but I'm afraid they'll come out with a newer one shortly. I know it's not a good rep but it really looks nice.

I'm very doubtful they will anytime soon. But then again it is a diver. I say buy one now. AP's have an extremely quick turnover time in the sales section should a new one come out and you want to get it.
