The Miyota is arguably a better movement. The 3 screws on rotor look nice.
Trading up from your RGDiver daz?

I am def. thinking but am reading a lot of threads saying 316f has a better finish. So I am concerns that the original rg diver may have a

better finish. If not I would try to get this and put in a rise gold bezel.

You like the gold bezel bro?
I like contrast of the ceramic.
Interesting about grades/durability of gold plating.

Yes. I really like the gold bezel and the brushed strokes on it.

So wrong color in sunlight (you mentioned before), and obviously the weight is off- but how flashy are RG watches really?
How often do you wear your RGRC and Montoya Shark...?

I've only got my Montoya now sold the RGRC last week, I wear the Montoya every now and then.

Stop hating...The watch is beautiful

Thought you might like this daz having the ceramic bezel would make it a bit more durable to wear, wouldn't read too much into the 316 metal probably all crap!

Ahhh good point to RG plating the Titanium case - I think you're exactly right!

It's known that AP will make custom watches for their customers, so a tasteful fantasy like this is perfectly feasible. I am baffled by the use of titanium, which is all wrong. The weight is completely off from real gold and it scratches easily--much easier than SS. This is the last metal you want to use for plating. The best choice would be tungsten, which has almost the same specific weight as gold and is just shy of 9 on the mohs scale making it as scratch resistant as sapphire. It also takes plating VERY well..rose gold in particular.

Very interesting facts Set!
I was close to purchasing this, until I saw they plated the titanium case - my thoughts were the same as yours (scratch easily and weight) though you have more knowledge of the subject!
A plated tungsten one, with the same features as this, would be awesome....

I don't see it guys. Looks like somebody had leftover parts that aren't selling, and made a $400 shit sandwich. No thanks.
