So recently I received an email containing qc pics for watches I did not order. The pics were of a pam441 and pam372.
I did not pay much attention to the pam441, since I already have a kw312, but that 372! Man it's gorgeous! Even my wife said it's a beauty.
But it's a 47mm, and plexiglass crystal.
I've got a 6.5in wrist, would it look too big on my wrist? Can somebody with 6.5in wrists and own this pam post wristshots please?
And regarding the plexi crystal, does it scratch/chip/crack easily? I'm a bit clumsy sometimes so I really prefer sapphire, and have no experience with plexiglass.

No worries! The 372 looks great on any wrist! I have a 6.75" wrist and love my 372.
Regarding the plexi, as long as your not smacking the crystal of your watch off things you will be fine. On a good note if you ever do get light scuffs in it you can polish it.

Here are a few photos!

That was quick! What a beauty! But how about the glass? Do you have to baby it?

I edited my first post before I saw this reply.
As long as your not abusing the watch you will be fine. I was worried about a plexi before but when I wear it I just take a little extra care that I dont bang the crystal around. So far so good *knock on wood*

kulobot. if you look after it you will still get very little hairline scratches, not very noticeable, but don't go trying to buff it out all the time or continually polish it, just let it be for a certain time, then give it a nice clean.

I hear a tab of toothpaste and working it in on the plexi does the trick (anyone experience confirm), I haven't tried that, but I have used toothpaste on other things like jewellery etc and it does do the job for that.

Just enjoy it, it's a great piece :) I just got mine last week, my wrist is 7.5

Here is mine on a 6.5" wrist ..IMO 47mm wears nice in the beginning , after awhile i would prefer 44mm watches or smaller ..

Thanks for the picture and the insight. I went to an AD and tried on the gen 372 and initially it felt ok to me and not as big as I was expecting (I have a 6.75" wrist too). But, I am worried about the lasting appeal as I love the feel of my 390 and 292 on my wrist....and there are days I wish I had a 40mm PAM. I am still debating between the 372 and the 127 and whether or not I really want to invest in a watch I may not even wear.

Well , i have the same thoughts as well ..so end of the day i would prefer wearing the 390 out as it's much more comfy on the wrist . not too top heavy i feel . 47mm Pam are nice to have but not very wearable on a daily basis for me ..

which one to get? H-Fac or the Noob one?

Its six of one and half dozen of the other mate...

They are both good but have equally bad flaws... so personally I wouldnt put one over the over given the nature of the flaws on the wrist ... best one is a combo of them all ;)

(setting aside movements as it aint worth it even trying..)

I would suggest you check out the H v gen thread which shows some great pics side by side that was made by a member here...

There isnt as good as comparison with Noob yet but there will be I am sure..

Basically they are both great reps OTB and if you can get a good deal on one over the other than that might be the deciding factor...
