This looks perfect. The pic is on an angle which is why the lettering looks off. I think he is referring to the circular 'starburst' etching on the raised squares of the dial pattern? If so, it's fine and that inverse effect is just a product of a lower res photo where the pixels are larger than the etching (as anyone with half a brain intuitively knows). Newbs and people without much common sense seem to come up with phantom problems when their uncertainty gets the best of them. This isn't the first time someone has posted a great dial 15400 with nonsense complaints.

Edit: My 15400 had a real problem in that a bunch of lume was stuck to the outside of the dial marker at 2 o'clock, necessitating me to take the marker off the dial and gently scrape the lume off with my thumbnail to avoid scratching the dial and the soft polish of the hour marker. Then I glued it back on and it looks perfect. NBD.

Also the AP logo I think may be from the angle of the picture, maybe not, I was going to get it serviced and have it adjusted but now I need a replacement dial. I posted this so you can ALL look at your QC and examine this so YOU dot spend 450$ on a HUGE error.

For all you haters......
A 450 rep should NOT have this problem

I believe he is trying to tell us (through use of little more than cave drawings and grunting) that the concentric circles on the tapisserie dial are printed incorrectly.

Well, the picture that he has marked as "rep" clearly look to me like the concentric rings go around the center. So, no I still don't get it.

But, regardless, it's something that you couldn't see without a loupe anyway so who really gives a shit? Can anybody see the rings in the first picture he showed?

Another one of these ? Once again , a non-vip with unrealistic expectations.

I looked at the picture for a good 5 minutes and couldn't see a reasonable flaw.

Electric, I see what you mean. Look at his QC photos, look at the dial above the 6 marker. The dial on his watch does not have a concentric circle tapisserie.

So you're agreeing that the TD should provide a macro shot of dial texture with this and every other watch ?

The TDs can do what they want. They will treat their QC process and customers the way that best makes sense to their business model and process and approach to customer relations.
But the OP shows a dial with an incorrect tapisserie.

I also couldn't see absolutely anything wrong with the dial after 5 mins of looking or reading first comments.

But to be fair to OP i can see his tapisserie is all ****** up after he mentioned it, half of it is inverted and all facing the wrong way.

Btw how do you even become a VIP on here now? Apparently my status has expired and can't see anything at the top...

Listen it's advertised THE RIGHT WAY. I expect THE SAME. It's completely unreasonable to spend 450$ On a product that claims to be so amazing and so close to gen but then gives you this crap? I do not consider it a small flaw, it's absolutely inaccurate and unacceptable no matter the cost of the rep. If you guys don't see the problem in that then that's your own docile brains fault.

Beware 15400 angus

Also when that is a MAJOR part of the design YES, you should. I am not being unreasonable, I accept the fact that I didn't see it myself until I was giddy enough to post it on here only to see it in a better resolution and notice it myself. I already have given it the green light for shipping, thinking if anything I would need to fix a crooked AP marker but I planned on having I serviced by Tonyy anyways so that's easy. But eff this dial, it's not right. And I don't think being a VIP makes it more or less someone's place to warn others to be more mindful about this detail.

Why not just ask for a replacement dial from the TD? If you are having it serviced, the dial will have to be removed anyhow.

If you are right on that I will donate 50$ bucks to RWI in YOUR honor. I can only hope and pray you are right however, unfortunately, I strongly don't feel you are.
