The V6 clasps used to be much better w/ almost no gap! The quality of the clasp has fallen off in the last year & it is common for them to look open like that. As long as it is still locking, the TD will tell you that is normal, fine, functioning clasp.
It's the bad quality of the clasp and reports of hublot reps being very uncomfortable that have stopped me from ordering one at the moment. I do like the look.
Mine is comfortable. You might be right about the quality of the clasp, I lost a screw on the clasp. Then I learnt... The moral of the hublot rep story, always tighten the scews - all of them! Buy one dude!

You're right. The quality of v6 claps have gone downhill. You can tell if you have a good one if it has two indentations on the inside of the clasp, for the two studs.
I ended up sourcing new ones (specifically requesting the one with the indentations) from sead on my last v6s
