NOTE: This is an incomplete post, as I apparently hit the wrong key and posted this before I was finished. I can't add to this post, so I'll complete this in another post. Sorry for the screw up. dave
Hi, Gang!
This post is for RWI members who actually LIKE Invictas, esp. the ones that are reasonable in size and are fairly decent homages, esp.to Rolex Subs. I purchased this after reading an RWI mate's post concerning the newer, upgraded 8926s made after 2010; I was moved by this post because I really liked my old 8926 so I purchased this from ShopNBC (on the extended payment plan). Except in certain areas, it's similar to the older 8926, with these exceptions: (1). it weighs more (157.1 grms v. 131 grms), has a much improved Cyclops (about 1.5 - 2; v. the 1.0x), has more refined bracelet links, has a better, sharper defined coin-edged bezel; and most importantly, has the Seiko MH35-A7 24-eweled movement v. the old Myota 21-jeweled one; the newer NH 35 movement, indeed, winds more smoothly than the old Myota one. For a contrast, I included some pics of my Rolex 16610LN Sub at the end. Enjoy! dave:
