Ordered my first 2 reps From Rochest & Mary!

After Months and months of trolling and researching ..and of-course asking dumb questions lol I finally ordered from Rochest. I sent WU yesterday..awaiting conformation of payment from Rochest. Hopefully if this goes well another 2 orders will be placed. Damn this thing is way to addicting! I thought smoking was bad ! Will Post pics as soon as i get them ! :thumbsup:

nice.... yea really glad he is back..after all my research i couldnt get myself to buy from anyone else ...but i think maybe i should explore other TD ....i really want a daytona ..i know about all the issues with the sec @ 6 do debating on that.

Rolex started to make in house movements with sec@6 not too long ago. Before all Tonas were with sec@9.

thats right after 2000 they make their own movements and change the bracelet (solid) and the clasp as well .but any tona before 2000 is highly collectible w/zenith movement
that tona luthier sec @ 9 is great very elegant and sporty dial

Any of the TD's can get you the sec@9 daytonas, just ask them. They are not super accurate reps (but neither are the sec@6, and these are more reliable at least) but they sure are pretty.

A7750, so, chrono is working, bought from Mary/Rochest, of course. Mine is oversized, 43mm, but they have 40mm too.

Luthier - quick question for you. Do those 43mm fantasy daytonas have a 21mm bracelet endlink or 20mm?

The reason I ask is that some of them come with the rep "rubberb" strap on them, which every dealer I email claims doesn't come in 21mm, but the case geometry on those 43mm models seems to suggest it would be a 21mm strap endlink. And getting one of those watches for 100 bucks in 21j just for the rubber strap would be far cheaper than paying rubberb 250$ for a 21mm endlink strap.

It's 21mm, mate, and I'm very happy with the bracelet, it's classic! Polished midlinks, rest is brushed, and it's beautiful.

i have bee reading that the secs @9 reps arent as great as secs @6 and the ones at 6 are more closer to the gen ?
