I don't want to leave an accurate judgment because I've never bought from Angus.
But if I had asked for a watch , they say to me that it is in stock.
I pay , and then they send me an email that I should choose another watch , whatever it is the TD , I get angry very much.

Cheers

Yeah I would ask for a refund, not cool considering they told you it was in stock.

Find another TD who has one in stock.

Same exact thing happened to me with the same watch, but with Ryan at intime. The difference was that he offered a refund immediately. Maybe it's time to change the TD you use. Ryan is the best in my opinion.

Happened with all the dealers, it sucks but shit happens. You order the watch, they request it from the factory, it's out of stock, they can't know exactly what the factory still has in stock. The difference is that other dealers like Ryan offered me instant refund.

Wow, this started as a bad review for PT. Now a praise thread for Ryan.

Well , mate this is not a big difference ?
I can understand the factory problems or anything else , but if I pay 'cause tell me than the watch is in stock and after there's not , is the first and last time like customer.
Before send a mail with wrote " Yes , is in stock " , maybe ask to factory before. IMHO.

I'm getting concerned about this happening to me. I confirmed with them that the watches I need are in stock last weekend. Been waiting to get WU instructions since then. I get taking time to check stock and taking time to QC and ship. I don't get taking days to send an email with WU instructions. The longer it takes the better the chance they'll be out of stock when they take my money to the factory to buy. I'm patient, just concerned.

Happened to me with puretime as well! Problem is that a refund with them is not worth a 2 month wait...

Personally I like PureTime. Just got an awesome watch from them, no problems, and runs like a top. IF the stock is low, but it's there, and there's a delay in responding or placing an order and someone else or two purchase it in between, you can't necessarily blame the TD for it.

It's like calling a store and asking if they have your favorite 8" pump in size 13 in stock. Then going to the store the next day only to find out it's been sold. Frustrating yes, but just because we ask if something is in stock doesn't mean they are going to hold it or pick it up from the factory because you might purchase it.

Ryan response time is excellent. The same as with PT in my purchasing opinion.

However - important to remember all TD field many hundreds of emails per day - so where you may enquire about a bunch of watches so does someone other buyer(s). In turn the watches get picked up by other buyers.

Lets also keep in mind that we all have our 'top 10' and a majority of those lists share the same watches so it make sense that at times its simply not going to be available.

Further more and easily forgotten, perhaps on QC inspection of the watch by the TD its found its not suitable for shipment so therefore it becomes unavailable and the long wait for a new batch is in order.
