I'm in if it's going to be around 40mm. There already are plenty of fantastic watches in the 44mm category but the smaller, dressy sizes are lacking.

there was a mention of a diver, didn't see pics
Unfortunately the Diver didn't make it too far...

Found some traces left...

Hey how'd they get their own watch? Luthier is amazing and I hope this actually happens!

I would suggest dress watch with 2836-2 movement, 44mmX10mm.

I like the idea of an RWI dress watch, and I really liked the designs you were presenting over on RWG. However, something about this picture doesn't appeal to me. I think it's simply that it looks like a non-chrono RWG watch. The indices are the same, the hands are the same, the case looks the same, etc.

There's nothing wrong with it at all of course. It's a beautiful design. I just get a feeling of deja vu with it. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand you're throwing the picture up as an example. This is in the pre-pre-pre-planning stages right now. Hell, it might not even be that yet.

I'd be in for an RWI watch if there was enough to distinguish it from the previous RWG watch, like a pattern/texture on the dial, or a white dial. But if it actually gets to a design stage in the near future and it's decided to basically be a non-chrono RWG watch, I'd probably pass.

44mm , domed or double domed crystal with kick ass lumed C3 bezel gets my vote. Dress watch is fine too, as long as it has some sort of tapestry dial or some aqua terraish features.

By the way, I need to make this very, very clear.

If it happens this watch will have NOTHING to do with RWI.
It will be a private offering with no input, influence or connection to RWI bar it's branding. All responsibility will rest with Luth, RWI accepts no burden and will carry no responsibility for non completion, warranty etc for this watch. Buy at your own risk.

All the old guys and Luth know why this needs to be stated, watches kill fora.

Rwg folk don't have the watches yet, i'll wait for the first comments as soon as they pop up.

Just waiting to see how all this turns out.

I'm not doubting it will happen Sub, the watches are 98% finished.
You may however remember the last watch that RWI had anything to do with?
For that reason it's strictly a non board affair.

Every damn watch available is 44mm - they are everywhere. Why would people ask for the 200th 44mm watch?

I agree, wat.

I started out looking for one watch bigger than the other here.

now I love wearing my little tiny rolie 6263. It took some gtting used to, but the watch holds such beauty, the size really doesn't matter.

wearing a small watch has it's own charm. (try it if you dare guys, it really wont remove your masculinity)

Every time I see a guy wearing a small watch I think to myself: "silly guy wearing his gf's watch :lol, wonder if he's wearing her panty too"

Guys, this is not the venue for which watch you want, this is a very preliminary head count. If we get the required people, then we can start up a new thread with a poll or debate thread about what design we want and Luth is willing to make.

We are all watch enthusiasts over here and have no doubt there are more than enough people to buy the watch, but I can not say I'm in for a watch without even knowing what's its final form, just cause it has RWI printed on the dial.
