Postman delivered me my new steely today.

Pretty pleased aside from a bit of a concern with the date/time setting functions. Engaging the functions seemed unnecessarily troublesome. I'll look at that further tomorrow.

Adjusting the strap was pretty easy - 10 minute job with a little care.

Pics for your interest.

Suspect the keyless works is a bit iffy. It behaved a bit better this morning but is a little temperamental. If I send for servicing, it'll be sorted...or I may waste a day of my life following the guide in the movement section !!!

Curses. Was checking the watch more closely following the movement issue and also noticed one of the bracelet screws missing. Strongly recommend you ask for this to be checked if you get one. If you look carefully on my pics above taken when I unwrapped you can see it there as well. I've contacted PT with some feedback and request for the screws.

I expect my VCO black coming this week. Unfortunately with a black dialwheel while the gen has a white one.

How can one handle so many choices? I'm so sick if having this disease. I want one. I know people that wear the same watch day in and day out.

Received my VCO today. Looks very good but I can´t understand they use black datewheels instead of white (as original) They try so hard to make a good rep but do not think for such cheap details.
I have a grey dialed IWC Portuguese and they mounted a white datewheel instead of a black ... that makes me headshaking

Where did you purchase the watch from, the photos from Puretime show a white datewheel. Hmm, just noticed that the original poster showed a photo of his black VCO from Puretime that has a black datewheel, strange...

I usually compare photos of the gens with offered watches on the rep sites and then decide for the rep with most similarity to the gen. I purchased at Puretime because the watch showed a white datewheel like the gen. And now a little bit disappointed when it came with a black one.

Didn't you ask for QC photos? Unfortunately, replicas seem to go through various small revisions, which aren't always reflected on the dealer's website.

With my last order I asked four or five times not to forget to put in the parcel a missing very small case screw for a watch I have ordered two month ago. What shall I say ... with the last order (VCO) the small screw had been forgotten. From ordering the last watch till delivery it took more than one month. If I had said I wanted the black datewheel replaced by a white one the delivery would had been successful for christmas 2011 ;-)
I had resent a defective watch to my trusted dealer. It took me some emails to confirm the watch had been arrived in China. They didn´t took them from post office after arriving for more than one week. It´s a kind of playing roulette. Maybe I try to let the datewheel replace by a local watchmaker.
Accuracy check is offered by some trusted dealers for 20 US$ more. I did this with my first order and when I checked the QC pictures one watch was nearly 30 s/day off. I had to ask several times to fix this (remember I had paid for it) and finally they regulated it. My last orders I never did it and regulated my watches by myself - tricky if you have no timebalance but possible.
Well, it´s a hobby you need to have a lot of passion and patience.

Problem sorted. Stem was too short. I've tried a longer one and everything functions fine. Have requested the screw and stem from PT.

Couple of pics with case back open for your interest.

Hmm, looking at the photos of your VCO Black, I noticed that it doesn't have the extra small screws attaching the bracelet to the watch head which was typical of the non-cartel version. The dial, with the more pronounced bevel on the date window is indeed the non-cartel version however, as are the watch hands. You also have the highest quality available replica bracelet, and I've seen a version with the right clasp, but with slightly different bevels on each link.

The impression I'm forming is that the lower volume high-end replicas can be more of a mish mash of available parts, which is why QC photos are particularly important for these low-volume watches. To date, there are at least two versions of the bracelets, case, caseback, dial, and watch hands, as well as several versions of the caseback, and I've seen them appear in various combinations in individual watches.

There are 2 x 1.4mm dia screws (3.1mm end to end with abt 2.4mm thread length) holding in each end of the bracelet to the case back. You can see them best on the movement shot above. Is this what you're looking for? One of the problems I mention above is that one is missing. Been trying to find a match online while I wait for a response from PT.

To add, I just received my VCO Black from Puretime and it was missing a small screw at the caseback. Not a big deal for me, but if you are getting the VCO, make sure to screw all small screws tightly one more time before wearing it.

Otherwise, I'm more than pleased with my latest purchase. Comes with the black datewheel though, which might be a problem to some, but I like it better this way.
