They're based in Hong Kong.

What were the options you selected from inspired. They dont appear to list a dark blue and the rest of the options are somewhat maddening

Not mine. Grabbed pics from a member on RG. I think this was a custom order so you can probably try to link them the pics for similar specs.

Have heard of inspire, must say that strap pictured by deviant looks really good quality. Thanks for the details, some great strap options listed here.

If you look at http://v.yupoo.com/photos/mrwatch/albums/6004537/ for $238, the case back has serial # same as the more expensive one..

Noob version is way better:
- accurate date wheel
- accurate case thickness (the cheap version is slimmer, I wish the gen was the same)
- far better dial and crystal

I would like to buy and try the cheap version with grey sunburst dial if the price was <160USD.

Just ordered one from pt! Now I am thinking about the strap. Has anyone put a deployment strap on this baby?

Wow that looks great Tysodrum! Where did you get yours from? I am looking at straps from watchboys but not sure where to get the deployant.

Mine is not the Swiss. I got the deployant over time used and such. Check the sales threads a s stuff. I have a few IWCs and stocked up for the future. I like it but I think I would rather have a Portuguese instead. ;/

For those who changed the strap on this watch, can you please confirm the lug width? 21mm or 22mm?

22mm. The only IWC I know with 21mm is the 3717 and variants.

TWB has a strap that is very close to gen.

I am hesitating.... Dark Brown, Chocolate Brown or Dark Blue! The old school Santoni strap that was posted is leaning me towards a brownish strap.

I got the dark blue. Pretty happy with it. If they were not so expensive I would experiment with other colors.
