Still thinking about a day register on a mechanical chrongraph. 1 -7, sure, days. Unless you're at sea in your tall ship, drifting through the Horse Latitudes while conducting celestial navigation using your sextant, why the hell would you count days?

It doesn't count days you nab ^_^ it shows what day of the week it is. Think of it like a day wheel on a day-date rolex but instead of letters it uses numbers so like 1 can be Monday etc etc.
