Hi Guys,

I want to know where I can buy the best quality replicas in Dubai? In the middle of july im for 8 days there. Im interested in Rolex Submariner, Sea Dweller, Air King and Panerai Marina Militare in Carbon.

I have read so much about buying fake watches in Dubai, but i have not found any hints about good dealers or adresses. I have only found two names like Walencia or Green Eye Shop. But they sell maybe only bags?? I don't know...

Some people say in the Karama District, others say at the Gold Souk. I believe that there are big differences in the quality of the watches. Now Im afraid to buy a watch with a bad quality.

Are there any characteristics how I can identificate good or bad replicas??

It would be very nice if some of you can tell me your experiences about buying replica watches in Dubai. What are the prices I should pay for a watch there?

Maybe you have any adresses or names of shops you can recommend?? That would help me very much!

Thank you very much!!

Where are you from? You'd probably be better off ordering from one of the trusted dealers here, unless you really just want the experience of shopping for one there. You'll almost certainly pay less for better quality buying from forum dealers.

Hi, I am from germany. I travel in july to dubai for a holiday. For a long time I wanted to buy a replica, but I was not sure.

Now I heard that in Dubai they have very good replica watches. So I decided to buy one.

I only don't know where I can buy there the replicas with the best quality. So I asked about experiences of other users, or better for names or adresses of shops.

Im not sure too. But the quality would be definitely canal street piece of junk. You might be better off saving those money for a high quality from one of our TDs here.

Ps. Those canal street piece of junk very easily kaput. They will be fast by how many secs, minute or even hours. When you set the time, the crown sometimes might be very tight to put out, if you use force, the stem broke which leave the crown come off.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Which is not to say that there are not quality replicas in Dubai, there very well might be but they're likely to be difficult to find and overpriced. You're quite simply not going to find the quality available (truly the best of the best) from forum dealers for the same prices without a whole lot of work, and even then it isn't likely. Remember, if they have good replicas in Dubai, they're still made in China, or maybe Taiwan or Thailand. Unless you're legitimately involved in the rep watch industry (i.e., not as an end use consumer) you're not gonna beat the prices available from dealers.

Maybe Dubai have high quality, but what those ppl advertised to you is those low end canal street. They dont advertised to you those high quality unless you keep on buy from him cus they do this kind of business is illegal.

Source: from my experience. I been through like that from other country. Where I keep on buy watch from that fellow until he recommend me those high quality type.

I think you have to make it an adventure and go find what you can find. Ask the locals. Ask the cheap watch vendors where the good stuff is.

Thank you for all of your answers and tips. Well then I should maybe rather watch at the TD here in the forum. I see that the most of you are satisfied with them^^. I am a bit afraid of the german customs. Have anyone experiences? A year ago I bought some Nikes from china, and the catched me, and I had to pay the german taxes additional to the price.

The second question is, I know asking this is a bit unfair, but have all of our TD the same quality of watches??? Im searching for very very very good Rolex Submariners and Sea Dwellers or Panerai Militares replicas for a good price. The should have swiss ETA clockworks. ETA clockworks are "must have" in replicas??

Any dealers to recommend? Of course you can write me a PN.

Thanks

Oh another question:

Do all Submariners or Sea Dwellers have the same sizes? I have big arms, and maybe there also differences in the sizes. I think Sea Dwellers are a bit bigger than Submariners?

Second question:

What is the exactly name of this watch, and where I can get it in exactly this color and in a good quality??

Weiohwei, the watch you posted a picture of is a very poor quality Panerai Homage, I would not call it a replica because to my knowledge Panerai doesn't make a watch that looks like that. It has a poor PVD-style finish, hands from a 029, the wrong datewheel for a Panerai, and probably a number of other issues that people can point out.

As for ordering in Germany and customs, there are options available to avoid that. Specific shipping services, and the use of triangle shipping (watch is shipped to somewhere else in the EU, and then shipped to you) can all help avoid customs seizure or taxation, which is important because the taxes on a supposed $8,000 watch will be much more than they were on a pair of Air Jordans.

Rolex is the most copied brand of watch in existence. So the choices for Rolex replicas are varied, though as you might expect price increases considerably along with quality. A swiss movement (clockworks) is not a necessity in a replica watch, and in fact it might be a bad idea as replica watches sold with Swiss movements often have movements that are fake, old, or refurbished. There are several reliable, durable asian movements that come in these watches. If you browse around the Rolex section you will find a lot more information about this, and the Rolex replicas that are available.

Submariners and Seadwellers are about the same size, though the Submariner has greater diameter (dial and bezel size) and the SeaDweller is slightly smaller in diameter, but is thicker (sits higher on the wrist). Unless you're talking about the modern "Deep Sea Sea Dweller" which is bigger in every respect.

And yes, for the most part all of the forum dealers can get the same quality, though some specialize more in cheaper watches and others in higher quality ones. For high quality replicas try Toro Bravo, Puretime or Marvelous Replica (which is very popular, though I've never used them) For the highest quality Rolex replicas, you will have to go with a small dealer like TC or BK, but their watches are very expensive and maybe not what you're looking for.

Here are a couple of links for great beginner Submariners and Seadwellers. Both of these show prices with the superior Asian ETA clone movements. They can be had with a decent 21j movement for about $70-80 less, or $100 for the submariner and $150 for the sea dweller. They are not perfect replicas, but they are very, very good and great for a beginner as they are not too expensive:

Somehow I doubt this was the most helpful response for the guy.

The only good Sea Dweller to get right now is the new super lumed Sea Dweller. All of our dealers have it. I'm not sure which one that is linked to on Toro's page but Trevor sells the asian eta 2836 version for about $190.

Trevor also sells the noob submariner with the asian eta 2836 for around $130:

Dubai and the UAE for that matter has terrible rep watches - I would not waste your time buying them from there.

Quality Poor and to be honest having spent some years there your not going to find anything of great interest compared to the TD's on this site.

Karama and the Gold Markets/Souk have very little on offer aswell.

Lets face it most of the UAE has the money for Gen's - link up with a TD and you will be far better off in the long run.

If your based in UAE gdluck with customs.

yep exactly like what everyone said, save your time man and order from online, the people selling reps here will just RIP you off by mostly canal st quality reps, not worth it, hey I live here! Take my word for it, instead, there are a lot of GEN stores in Mall of the Emirates or Dubai Mall for all the eye candy we need, haggle with them and you might get a good discount!

Nothing in Dubai

I am a noob by all standards, but I know what right is supposed to look like. I have traveled twice to Dubai and was looking myself. This last time around in Dubai I went searching. The Gold Souk was where most of the activity was, but as others have said, the quality is poor and the prices are higher than they should be. They spotted this American a mile away, Gen Cartier and all. Pick a TD and go with it. You won't make a mistake.

hey weiohwei,
You can try "Souq Al Karama" it's a local traditional market in Dubai, you can find good stuff but a lot are just worthless, the avg price of good watches is between 250-500 Dirhams, that's 70-140 USD, most of the salesmen are Indians and at some point they will ask you to follow them in an alley to a secret room, much like Guangzhou. My advise to you will be to have a lot of pix of any watch you have in mind, preferably printed, bring them over when you go shopping and work out your deals there.

Don't bother with Dubai you will be ripped off. I found a good shop in January, it had just about every super rep you've ever seen. I wanted to buy a HBB V6 from this guy, he wanted $600 for it! I came home & bought the same watch from a TD for a huge discount.
