Who to goto for AR these days?

Appreciate some help as I've done a lot of reading and can't find a modder who is still doing quality AR jobs!

I have a Planet Ocean rep crystal I want to get applied with decent AR to mimic the real thing [trying to do so instead of buying the $$$ gen crystal!]. However Chief/Taka/Fine DD are all currently out of the AR business based on comments I've read on this forum.

Who else can the collective here recommend?

I saw recently that domi had been doing some AR, but I asked him, and he replied that he didn't privide that service at the moment. (maybe he meant not right now, but it will get going again)
I'm interessted to hear about AR guys too.....

Guys, I spent some hours with Uwe last weekend. In terms of his illness he told the admins to close his section after they asked him. But he is still in the business. Sometimes he has good days sometimes not so good. The last 2 weeks were very good and he could managed to sent out 15 watches. So get in contact with him or I will do if you want and ask what he can do. he is still one of the best modders!!!!

For what it's worth and my near-worthless 2 cents to this dialog, I would encourage you to contact "Goin" as he still has good contacts in this area. If I had any substantive mods to do, he's always been reliable and would be able to respond to AR questions. In my case, he was able to transform a fairly high-end PAM 111H to a near ultimate and the AR is perfect. And I love every minute of it.

Uwe did provide excellent AR, but other mods have been sometimes unsatisfying.

Yes, the reason is we demand a very high standard from our trusted dealers and if they don't meet it they go. The security of our members comes first and foremost.

I second that. I wasn't either satisfied by his moding service, but AR service, thats a whole difference matter. One of the best, if not the best, i have seen...

Vac is great, but is usually backed up.

Goin seems to be my go-to lately. I have the TD ship directly to him, he has the A/R done and whatever other mods I request.

Keep in mind that A/R usually takes a long time to turn around (3 weeks minimum to the modder) They generally don't do A/R until they have assembled a bunch of crystals.

We are in bad need of more AR modders in the rep game, some of the old reliables are either out of business or no longer available for the foreseeable future.

In terms of the PO, I have both Uwe and a taka AR'd PO crystals, I'd have to say while the Uwe AR is great and is very durable, the taka AR is substantially more 'transparent' and much more like gen Omega AR.

Taka is no longer a trusted dealer here or anywhere.
Taka decided it was OK to go on a 10 month holiday while he had 10s of 1000s of dollars worth of people's watches and money while not telling anyone or communicating until threatened with the police (after which it took less than 15 minutes to get a reply). I don't think Taka would be a wise option somehow.
