I really like the "thunder bird" however I realized that the ones from trusty with eta are 38mm. The gen is 36mm. Ive seen some that are 37mm. But none that are 36mm. Not that its a big deal as I never tried to pass my reps in public as real. Thanks much!

I imagine the rep T-Birds use the same mid-case as all the other rep Datejusts out there, so I wouldn't worry too much about the dimensions listed on the dealer's site. It's possible they measured the diameter of the bezel instead of the case.

Hi, guys!

Would you please do this newbie a favor: would you please post some pics of this "Thunderbird" TOG you're discussing? I'm trying to get a mental picture, but so far nothing is appearing. Thanks bunch!

they should be 36mm its the same case as the DJ and DD must be a typo or something? other sites have them as 36mm.

There you go.. the Turn-O-Graph THUNDERBIRD
...I have made a review of it on my section of the forum and there´s a bit of history about the watch there too.

Beautiful watch, and great photos Spirit. Too bad it was never produced in "man size."

That Thunderbird is truly gorgeous, Spirit! And it IS man-sized, TB. Only someone constantly trying to PROVE their manhood would feel the need to wear nothing but over-sized, tasteless, "look at me" watches. ... not that I'm implying anything!

Great looking watch, but I'm with TB on this one... I wish they made some in man/bigger sizes...

The DSSD is 43mm, yes?

I see nothing wrong with the traditional "mens" watch, very classy, comfortable, and don't get smacked on everything you walk past. A watch that hangs over both edges of some stick-boy's wrist just looks plain dorky, IMHO...

TOG content...

A very nice piece in its original configuration of 36mm. Lest we forget how recent the phenom of large watches is. Prior to the early 90s, nobody gave a rat's ass how big or small your watch was unless you were a diver in the Italian navy. All the young hipsters are flashing blingy anchors these days.

Everyone on TZ and TRF is speculating what Rolex will introduce this year at Basel.
