Which WM9's Rolex watch is the most accurate to GEN?

BK has told me he will start selling his version of the new superlumed ExpII, with options to go franken since it takes gen parts!

This or his 16610 tw sub are probably his best offerings right now.

Last I heard he is running out of ym parts and the few remaining wm9 ym parts are for his return customers. But this news is a few months old so don't know what his stock looks like now.. Same goes for the tw/wm9 16610LV..

I'm after an Explorer II but would love to be able to improve it over the years ...

Well, I sent BK a gen Flat 4 insert to install on mine. And then I dropped in a gen crystal, crown and tube...and have a gen 93250 clasp comming (finally).....

No, no way. Every single BK watch is worth it bar this one.
BK does his best but the base watch just is not good enough.
Dial is soso and hands are wrong for starters.

The best DSSD was Robert's and now that's gone for ever damn it.



EDIT: :faceplam: Of cause I am confusing the SubC and the DSSD aren't I? What I wrote above stands for the SubC however.

Just got the straight TW Sub that he offered. I saw one of his WM9 subs and was blown away.

The reality is, this watch is, IMO, as nice as any of the Gen subs that I owned. And the few minute differences are just so darn hard to spot that.. well... dunno if it's worth it to me. I will say this, I could see if a genuine insert came across my path that I might swap that in. It's worth EVERY penny and well worth the wait.

I did compare it to a Genuine the other day, under CLOSE scrutiny I can tell (And I mean using a freaking loupe) that the dial isn't a Rolex dial. And ditto the insert.

But I suppose if I want to get that nutty I can always add those later. For the price it's a hell of a watch.

The wm9 BK YM is the best out of the box watch from wm9...
It is great....Really close to the real one...

p.s.
The TW YM is also awesome for 250$ compared to the 725$ wm9 used to cost...

I paid 1100.00 for my franken WM9YM it has a GEN Crystal/Cyclops, Crown/Tube, Bezel and it came with a GEN Box/Papers from a forum member a few years back. My WM9 submariner is extremely close as well, I bought it from a forum member then sent it to RSH so he could clean it up a little and make it POP! WM9 watches are the closest I have found to GEN.

The BK Sub-C has incorrect hands out of the box, I had to send mine off to RSH to get the correct hands and then a relume so everything would match.

The sub C,needs a lot of work to come in good shape.Hands would be the last i would care..I wouldn't spend on this watch..If you have desided to spend you must do it right..Change the dial markers,the insert,pearl and find a better sel fit bracelet...Also the incorrect rehaut engraving is something bad...So don't mess with this.Many job needed..
