Exactly..but then again, that defeats the purpose of buying this watch..i want the lume to also be at least close to the gen...
I have brought this up to Angus..hopefully i can get some spare stems as parts..

I've looked at the pics of the new SA-3135 . One dead give away is that it doesn't use a free sprung balance like the gen . It uses a common regulator arm found on all other mechanical movements used in rep watches. But I wouldn't be surprised if over time they upgrade this .
My other concern is that parts will be a big headache at first even with the availability of after market Rolex parts .
But overall IMO, the SA 3135 represents a quantum leap in the evolution of the replica Rolex . Its really remarkable .

would be great if you could get your expert hands on the movement and break it down for us..
You guys remember when puretime made that long post about how they were going to be more active in the forums? I know that didn't last long, but the chances are pretty high that Angus has checked out this thread (or is following it). I would think he'd at least give some type of response.

Mate, Angus is aware of this thread..i have already furnished him with the URL..
However he's more active on the other forum, RG..and to be honest, he's the only dealer i see so far that takes serious note of members' interest in certain watch models and ask for feedback in the prototype stage..
How many other dealers would take that extra effort to do so?

No they haven't, which is why I'm wondering why Angus hasn't commented over there either since is is more active on rg now. Then again, on rg there's only one thread about the sa3135, and they're saying this thread on rwi is the more active thread.

Angus has been away over the last weekend..but he's back and i guess he's just busy..
i have sent him a couple of emails on this as well and havent gotten much of a response other than his acknowledgement to look into the matter..

I was sent the link to RG where Angus directly addressed this movement. What he has to say was very comforting...very much indeed.

Some news about my stem problem. My order has been shipped today normaly there is my replacements stem in it for my sub. However, i'm gonna sell the YM in parts ( the case and the movement and dial) i ll post it today so if anyone is interested let me know.
Thats too bad bibi113, I am hoping one of our experts buys the SA3135 movement you are selling and tears it down. If I may ask, what made you come to the decision to sell? I am assuming because you feel it is unreliable?
I don't blame you at all and I would do the same I think, since the dealer PT is not helpful and wont refund or exchange for you.
