Well Soren and Kaniel,
Would be great if I ask you guys
- Which payment method did you use?
- Which country you ordering from and which courier service was used to deliver.?
- After how many days of payment tony shipped the watch? How many days in transit to reach your country?
- Did you ask or did tony himself send you any QC pictures.?
- Did you ask or is it necessary or done automatically, that tony does any servicing or adjustment of the 7750 movement for accuracy and precision? I am planning to buy Tag Calibre 16 Day Date and IWC Flieger Chronograph 3717. Any advice for any servicing required for these models.
- What is mentioned on the purchase invoice along with the parcel. Is it mentioned as sample or replica, also what value is mentioned on the invoice, the full amount or reduced price. I am asking to avoid hassle with custom regulations and paying extra customs duty on parcel.?
- What amount of customs duty did you have to pay on receiving your parcels.?
- Did the watches come in any type of regular or custom boxes. Is there any automatic winding box also available from tony. (Used when the watch is not worn)
Thanks a lot for your responses and advice to help me make the purchase.
Ok.. I'll try to help you by answering some of your questions so you will calm down and be patient.
1- Paypal . (never ever put anything about "rep watch", the model or something on paypal when making the payment... ).
2- Spain.
3- About 3-4 days after payment recieved. But sometimes can take a little more... Note that the dealer has to look for the watch for you... sometimes he has to wait some days for the maker to send him the watches etc.. So be patient my friend.
4- Normally he sends QC pics without asking... But if you want to be sure ask him. He is a nice guy and a great TD...
5- Tony makes a QC before shipping.. But QC is not servicing or adjusting the movement.. He just checks that the watch is working correctly.
But if you want to be sure about the movement you better lookf for a good local watchsmith who can service the movement of your watch... Or look for the watsmiths on the forum and ask them to service the movements.
6- All TD here have enough experience with customs in any country... . He knows what to do.
7- Well.. If customs catch your REPLICA WATCH... I don't think you will have to worry about duty fees... lol
8- Watches come securely package so they don't suffer any damage during the shipping.
Advice: Forget about winders... If you want your watch and movement to be working without enjoying it just send me the watch and I will wear it for you lol. If you don't wear the watch just wind it or shake it 5 minutes once or twice a month and movement will be ok. Not so difficult.. There's people that shake other thing 30 minutes every day and they can live with it.............. So you can shake your watch 5-10 minutes twice a month to keep the movement running with no issues.
Anything else?
