Tell us what you did to mod it !

Dremmeled the top edge of the part sticking out on Kenny's pic:

Careful not to do too much and test once in a while.
If you go to far the piece will open to an angle too great.

I did other way this mod I modded also the endlinks, but maybe I will dremel also a bit the top

And my Porsche is ONE OF ITS KIND on BRACELET !!!!! Finished it today ! I can finally wear this watch, until my rubber strap will arrive. I will post tutorial later.

Thanks BOUDART Yeah it needs rubber ! But I wanted to wear it finally atleast for 1-2 days..

Mary already ordered new rubber strap, and she should receive it today. so can't wait.

I really hope that updating the endlinks would finish the problem with strap

BTW Porsche diver is water resistant from stock ! I did the leak test and it passed with no problem !!!!!!!!!!!

thank you BOUDART, it was ULTRA HARD, I hate printed dials/bezels relume !

SO it will be a bit more pricey , as it require more dexterity then normal relume job

I also found some metalic square and triangle indexes, they are not really like gen, but they will have to do..

I still can't get my head around why this watch tilts ... I read the earlier explanation but I don't get it .... I really love this watch though and as I owned several Porsches in a distant past life, I'd love to have this watch in pencil lead grey finish .... just looks like high-tech, serious money - that mod to better accommodate the black rubber strap is fantastic .... well done and nice job.

I have just seen perfect clones video of Prosche diver and his endlinks are bending perfectly !!! Looks like bad construction on some pieces

Hi Kenny - the differences are discussed at fair length .... when I first saw this piece (earlier today) I searched a bit and found some interesting info around the traps. According to a few aficionados there are some "considerable" differences but none that I saw, bothered me in the slightest - of course, this watch is NOT my primary area of interest so if folks were talking about a Breitling for Bentley Flying B No.1 I'd be more concerned about the size of the chapter marks etc.

... now, if it was a discussion as to which order of Greek architecture is the most beautiful, then I'd have opinions coming out of my arse, which as it happens is where most of my opinions are carefully stored anyway!

the markers are from cheap Winner watch that cost 10USD (I wanted the markers from Yachtmaster II dial, but non of the dealers was able to supply me one

) and the triangle was the closest to get from Seiko dial.

The dial was relumed free hand so it is not exact nice square lume when you macro it 20x. fckuing hard to do on the plate markers

Thanks mate, maybe I will relume the indexes again, I was looking at new porsche design 21J version, and that dial has got nice indexes, but looks like they are flat as well
