Your missing the point. And you can always pop the hood to show your buddies your engine. Are you going to remove the back of you rollie to show someone the movement?

"Its a real sub! Look, Ill even take the back off and show you!"

Also, Im not sure I understand the whole adding gen parts to an asian movement. Your going to spend $500 on a gear to install it in a $20 asian movement? Look, I get it for open back watches, and I understand the whole accuracy thing (Im no noob), But if your really wanting to spend money on an asian copy movement to add gen parts to it why not just find a nice pre-owned gen sub? And yes, I understand the crown postion and dial issues and such. At some point though, by a gen. Enjoy the reps for what they are. :)

And dont kid yourselves, these types of movements arent being made for us, theyre being made to scam the unknowing people of the world. There are sites out there that will sell a TON of these not as gens, but as overpriced reps for $900 or more.
I agree with you, sir. I'm fully aware of the point here...I was just making a joke. Both yourself and DarthAlex have very valid points. We're not the sole target of these. The unsuspecting consumers are and Alex couldn't be more right on the profits parts alone would bring the factories. After all..that's "why" the factories make 'em. Huge profits. While this all seems to be a nice step towards improving the Submariner, I'm sticking with BK's TW and a fist full of gen parts and callin' it a day....that is, when the SL'd dials and hands are available.

I am extremelly curious..!!!!!!

I spoke with angus last night about my order of the Submariner 16610LV SA3135 Best Edition, he was suppose to send me the QC Pics, instead, he explained to me that the maker had a minor problem with date quick set and that the watch was not ready just yet. He did'nt want to tell me it will be ready in a couple of days so i should get the QC maybe at the end of the month , hope so!!! I can't say that i'm not a bit disapointed, but hey, i ll wait.. But as soon as i get those pics i ll post them on this thread. And i ll make the review of the movement when the watch ll arrive.. Sorry about that, this is not my fault guys, just waiting just like you.

Cheers,
Antoine

First i e-mailed Angus to make sure it was on stock, he told me that it ll be in a couple of days, so i made the order. Then 2 days after, he told me that the maker actualy needed more time. It's been a week or so, but Angus has been really nice so far. he apologize from the delay, and he always reply to my e-mail. I trust him to do the very best to get me one ASAP.
I ll keep you updated when i know more.

BK's TW Sub is what everyone on the forums are waiting on. I think everyone and their Moma will have one soon. Might not be a bad idea to get Angus to get his factory to speed up production because when the BK product runs out it will be extremely difficult to find one for sale. He may be very bust depending on how many orders BK took.

Sorry guys for the long wait. Please allow me to explain a bit for this watch:
1. I changed the status to immediate shipping on 30th August because the maker told me he could give me in 2 days. There were a lot of members asking me about availability so I thought I could change to immediate shipping while the maker promised me he can deliver in 2 days.
2. 2 days passed but watch still not available, called the maker everyday and I drive him mad and he called me out for a dinner on 6th Sept explaining the delay
3. The main issue was the date changing problem, the date sometimes not advancing completely after 0:00, it does not happen all the time but he wanted to make it perfect before releasing.
4. The movement is the first of its kind, I believe there will be more Chinese movement factories making it if this one is successful, he wants to be success so he has to be real careful and if people are complaining about this movement and he will fail.
5. The maker cannot (and not going to) sell the movement separately as he signed an agreement with the movement factory, so please do not ask me again about buying the movement only.

Some facts about the movement:
1. Its component are not interchangeable with genuine so you cannot use this movement as spare parts to your genuine 3135 movement.
2. When you adjust the time, the hands move in the same direction as the crown moves, same as genuine.
3. This movement will take gen hands and dial without modification and you can even place the movement into a gen case without any problems.
4. It is very accurate, I had the green sub with me for 3 days and it was damn accurate.
5. The delivery movement will be slightly different to the one shown on my site inside the green sub, the top plate letters will be printed more properly and you can see them through the rotor spacings.

I will keep you guys updated about the delivery of this watch.

Thank you all for your kind patience and support especially antoine52200!

Are there plans for this movement in other watches soon or will it just stay with this one until you get a grasp on the sales potential?

Will a gen Datewheel fit on this one, I think not.
I heard also that the Bezel assembly is like typical Rep one, not like WM9 or MBW.
So there is much more to do, not only the movement.

Hi there, i am working on a review of the watch and movement as we speak, it should be done by the end of the week. Angus did he's best to get me one before the final release. and i can tell you that the movement is really nice and improved compare to the pics on puretime website, accuratie +0/day, very quiet, you can bearly hear the tic tac compare to usual rep, and there is not that noise some rep does ( winding ) when you wear it. the second hand sweep exactly like my gen GMT II. the quick set date is great, and hands move in the same direction now. I don't know when exactly he ll have stock but it should be end of the month beginning of october... in my review i ll show the watch as i received it, and also with gen dial, hands, crown, clasp, insert, and a open caseback. it looks really great. I received the watch 3 days ago. But no need to email him he said, he ll post when the watch ll be in stock. Here's a one of the QC pic he sent me.
Cheers,
Antoine
