How to remove perfume from Rubber straps?

So my gf has been wearing my Planet Ocean on rubber strap for the past 2 week, and she gave it back today to wear my DJII. (she rotates my collection weekly) The strap now reeks of chanel no5 and I cant seem to get rid of this! I have washed it with soapy water many times and it still smells. I have had two coworkers ask if i was wearing perfume lol.
