Date Window CF Dial HBB V6 - COMPARISON GEN vs. REP

As usually in some characteristics of GEN HUBLOT, the GEN Date windows have different versions in CF dials

I have seen at this moment two versions:

- Date window TYPE “A†BIGGER SIZE and with a kind of little extra bevelling (perhaps hand finished)

GEN DATE WINDOWS TYPE “Aâ€


- Date window TYPE “B†normal size, just cut without extra bevelling

GEN DATE WINDOWS TYPE “Bâ€

The version adopted in replicas HBB V6 is the TYPE “Bâ€, normal size, just cut without extra bevelling

Differences
- The GEN is a little more defined and the edges are a bit more straight (seeing enlarged pics)
- The GEN is a little better finished, (seeing enlarged pics)
- Number fonts seem very similar

But, for all practical purposes and at natural size, date window in REP and GEN TYPE “B†are the same

You can focus more on the rep having such bad fake CF printed on the dial. CF is cheap enough nowadays im surprised they dont use it on those expensive HBB reps.

I'm not saying that CF on rep is fake.
Perhaps it is real CF and due to that the cut quality is not very defined.
We remain wating for more informations from experts

Go watch some of the videos of these watches on the other forum. The CF pattern moves with the light as the watch is rotated. Fake CF does not do that, its impossible. I'm 99.9% sure its real carbon fiber on these dials.

Many thanks for your contribution.
Unfortunately I'm not as sure as you in this subject.
You can imitate the CF pattern with a very well fine engraved plastic mould. A lot of replicas so-called CF dial are in this way.
A dial CF is not only CF, it is made of CF and polyester or epoxi resin, even you could put other cheaper type crystal fiber instead Carbon fiber and you could not note any difference !!
It will be no easy to know the true.
But the most important is the visual effect !! you don't need the mechanical characteristics of CF-epoxi for a wrist-watch dial !!!
Therefore, if we have serious doubts about the material that the dial is made, it is a good new for the dial of the HBB V6 replicas!!
And we will be able to say that the HBB V6 REP CF dial is accurate!!
