I'm writing this not only in regards to watches, but in regards to accessories as well. I understand this is the general watch section, but i feel that this section gets the most views and I want people to see this.
After PM's back and forth with various people, I'm certain I'm not the only one. I'm standing up and saying, Trevor's quality has gone down the drain.
Let's start with the basics. He boasts 1:1 quality of items, yet 70% of the products he sells don't even exist! I know my Duponts, Cufflinks, Ties, and shoes. I can safely say that these items he claims to be 1:1 are not of good quality. Examples include the following.
-Louis Vuitton Belt Buckles ( especially those with lettering ) are completely off, the font is incorrect, and there are commas instead of periods for say the large belt buckle.
-The ties. 80% of the ties this guy sells don't even exist. How do I know? I WORK for a company that sells a certain tie brand he boasts to be 1:1.
-Dupont lighters. Don't even get me started on this. A solid gold bond lighter? That lighter was never created. As a matter a fact all his bond lighters have the incorrect stamp at the bottom of the lighter.
-Tiffany Jewelry. This gets bad. Most of his items don't exist and would be laughed at if anyone knew two cents about items that company sold.
-Keychains. A VAST majority of those keychains again, were never created by the company.
Not to mention the several watches I've ordered to my PO Boxes ( yes I'm THAT paranoid ). I don't even bother talking to the guy. Rolex PVD he sold me faded after a week. This happened not once, but twice.
Look I don't know if the economy is getting bad but last I checked Trevor used to have some top notch stuff. His accessories and watches were well represented and were actually real (meaning they existed, as in the company actually makes that product ). I used to believe in him, but I thought people should hear about this because not everyone is as educated in accessories like I am.
A major part of this thread also is finding myself a good accessory dealer that I can trust. I have already found a new watch dealer that I can order from with ease.
I've heard great things about thehandbagfan and I've already placed an order. Any other suggestions?
