Wow you've got more names than the Wu-tang clan.

Ha! I love Wu-tang.

That's how I got the nickname dirt mcgirt aka ol dirty basterd.

Sometimes I'm called just dirt or dirty

Full Clip Phil which originated from ganstarr.

I also have flip and flipper (damn I hate that one).

I also thought Frederick was a funny one.

Lol, i have to admit Dirt McGirt was what gave me the Wu-tang reference inspiration (RIP Osirius aka Ol Dirty aka Dirt McGirt aka BZA aka Old Dirt Dog).

Gangstarr are legendary, i wonder if the RWI Guru got his nickname from Ganstarr.

I thought we did this a few months ago.
Mine is work related. "DirtyWhiteBoy" would have also worked, but I was worried about copyright infringement.

I've always wondered about several user names and what they mean. Some are random, but some I'm sure have a good story behind them.

Me first!

Frigpig

I work as a refrigeration engineer\tech. Sometimes we call each other fridge pigs. Kind of an endearing term like grease monkey to a auto mechanic. It's also a little derogatory used "unwisely" but like stated before quite alright from one fridge pig to another.

And since I hate that some douche thought it O.K. and its kind of generally thought O.K. to spell refrigerator with a "D" (refridgerator) when it's really spelled refrigerator I've gone with Frig pig.

So.......how many of you though that when you read my user name?;)

Nah. I just thought you like to frig pigs. (shrug)

I'm a CRNA. In Wisconsin. (yawn) Booooooooooooooring.

:asshat:

I am a huge boxing fan. "Five of clubs and Ace of spades" is a slang statement for a pair of fists. As a bonus, it is very easy to find an avatar when using this name. :)

I have a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. Just plugged in the trickle-charger so I can drive it today. :)

All my life Aza has been my nickname. It's a normal nickname for my real name Arran.

As I got older it tied in well though, as I became a big fan of the wu tang clan (like others here!). So Aza was quite a good fit along with the Rza and Gza.

Now as I get older, I like the nickname as it's a palindrome. Not only that, it only contains the first and last letters of the alphabet.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood is a charater in Trigun, a Japanese anime and manga series. I just thought it is sooo cool that he uses a special large cross-shaped gun called the Punisher, which contains two machine guns and a rocket launcher. :biglaugh:

I used to play the board game Bloodbowl, and then they made a computer version of it (mid-90's.) It was like football with orks and elves and trolls and stuff, where you could maim and kill your opponents. Anyway, one of the star players that the Orks could use was named the Doover.

I also played a lot of role-playing games, including Shadowrun. I had an Ork character that I named Doover. He did some legendary stuff (in the nerd world, of which I am a part) and the name stuck with me. MMORPG's followed and any green toons I made were the Doover.

Nobody calls me Doover or the doover or anything, I have just used it for a long time.
