Just a hunch, but the name "Corvetteguy" is oddly as bland as the names "johnnydeepsea" or "DSSDOWNER". That the DSSD has now become a topic is giving me flashbacks... Hmmmm...

Syntax is sort of the same too... :stir:

Duuude... I thought the same thing!

My vote remains for the good 'ol 16610 sub. It's kind of like the SUV of watches and fits darn near any occasion whether you're in the woods, at the beach, havin' a hot dog or dining at a fine restaurant.

I agree on the 16610 being a great all around timepiece. But........I think the PO will overtake it one day.

With that specific suit... the PO on the bracelet takes it by a mile. :)

To me, the most versatile rolex is the submariner.

The classic one, not the ceramic TT or LV.

If you want a different look, the LV is good to go.

I think dive watches are too informal for suits, unless you're going to some sort of casual wine tasting event or something. If it's truly a formal occasion, I say go with a dress watch.

Looking at the pics I still think the DSSD is not good at all for wearing dressed up. Looks out of place.

PS the sub that Daniel Craig wears in the photo actually is a replica of the one Sean Connery wore on goldfinger. A replica made by Rolex. ironic isn't it?:D

Funny, so far noone mentioned the Daytona as a dresswatch. That's the one I vote for as the ultimate Rolex dress...

I think the daytona is a bit too busy with the chrono en tachy. But maybe it will look good.

Sure looks good on her! But to be honest I prefer the white dial... Check out googel pic search, lots of wrist shots from different forums. If you ask me, I think it's the ultimate dress watch!

Even the all stainless steel wouldn't look out of place with dressier duds on ...

Q5?'s PO by a landslide. ;) And the girl that Panderson posted could wear it too. :)
