As a guy that can’t afford gen amd has a 42 blue pelagos in the way i cant even tell you how happy this makes meNot worth it, I have a gen Pelagos and the rep is 99% of look and 92% of feel, no reason to.

Wow that's really really cool. Very summer
I would disagree. Not worth it, I have a gen Pelagos and the rep is 99% of look and 92% of feel, no reason to.
Not feel, but look I think is as close as Ive seen on any out of the box non sub rep.I would disagree.
Although the Pelagos is close to Gen, it certainly is not 99%...and the bracelet is night and day better in the gen.
The BB58 is a nice rep, but by saying it's not worth going genuine, I would also disagree. The movement in the BB58 gen, the feel, the bracelet....everything is much better that the rep.
Factories haven't quite advanced with Tudor as they have with Rolex reps...
Although the Pelagos 39 is pretty damn nice.
My very uneducated opinion is that I got an xf pelagos 42 in the mail today and Im in loveNot feel, but look I think is as close as Ive seen on any out of the box non sub rep.
His question was 'is it worth it' and Id still say no, this is one where the rep is 'good enough' in my humble (and in this rare case educated) opinion.
That's all that matters babyMy very uneducated opinion is that I got an xf pelagos 42 in the mail today and Im in love
Yeah I think we get a little divorced from how semantically and applicably subjective the term ‘not worth buying in gen’ really is on the individual level. But more importantly, look at this sexiness! That's all that matters baby
Such a great color combo, I have the watermelon and this one looks so much better.
Too small? Doesn't look like it, but I'll see when I get it, apparently in Q3-Q4.Such a great color combo, I have the watermelon and this one looks so much better.
That being said I never wear it, just feels completely too small on my wrist for such a colorful watch

Much smaller, I'm at 17,5 cm = 7' maxI think if your wrist is 7.25 or less you'll be perfectly happy, I'm at 7.5ish and it looks a little toy-ish on me I'll take a pic later
Oh, I've got tons of watches that as replicas to me are "nwbig", purely for the enjoyment of wearing the watches. There's a ton of watches that I would never have paid for genuine pricing, but I love the replica.Yeah I think we get a little divorced from how semantically and applicably subjective the term ‘not worth buying in gen’ really is on the individual level. Edited to add @Orthopod is probably objectively correct, he’s a person that has impressed me as I’ve lurked around here, it’s just that my personal ‘nwbig’ is strongly influenced both by being uneducated and not ever having the money for gen.
lol Im in love but simultaneously looking into softening the titanium a bit as we speak! Also maybe trying to find a way of protecting it, but I already sort of doubt that will really happen, this thing gets microswirls from a cold breeze.Oh, I've got tons of watches that are replicas to me are "nwbig", purely for the enjoyment of wearing the watches. It really is up to the individual. If it's not worth buying a genuine to you then that's all that really matters. These are not about fooling other people, but really enjoying what you like.
I love my genuine Pelagos 42 LHD.... The replica is excellent., really really shockingly good. But if I didn't have the genuine, I really wouldn't be able to tell otherwise. I do find the bracelets on these titanium replicas are a little bit sharp. On the interior edges and so is the clap, but these can be softened with a little bit of work.
Yeah, these are freaking wild. What the hell?
The story behind is fun, too.Yeah, these are freaking wild. What the hell?
I've never seen these before but very cool looking.
This thread makes me wanna just keep buying watches

Honestly, the cool thing is is that we all like watches, genuine, or replica. I've met some great guys here that have both genuine and replicas and I think we all agree that there's an app appreciation for both, otherwise you wouldn't really be here!
