I ordered the Clean v3 and am not planning to do anything to it - gonna wear it OOTB. I requested the Pepsi from my AD and wanted to try it out with the rep first - Also requested the Sprite and looking at rep options for it.

I noticed the VSF is cheaper on Steve’s website - should we infer that Steve thinks VSF is not as good as clean, or only that VSF is competitively priced lower than clean and Steve is passing on the savings to us?

If you look at the side view of the bezel, the teeth on the VSF are far closer than the teeth on the Clean (Clean teeth are oval). So if you want an off the shelf close to Gen watch (aesthetically), VSF is the clear winner here. If you intend on modifying and replacing parts, then I think it's all to play for, depending on personal preference

Indeed, but for being 100% honest, this is the kind of detail I wouldnt notice how oval are the details on bezel

I own a clean v3 (v3s), I gave it to a gen owner for verification, he wasn't able to determine if it was a fake watch, so the oval details is pointless, the only things he notified was the bezel action who was clearly shitty.

That's why we dont need to be so picky when flexing rep with gen owner

Not holding my breath! I have decent spend history with this AD but still expect to wait a year or more to get a new gen Pepsi, which is ok as I’m not in any hurry…. Not with a nice clean v3 to wear!

Let us know what you think of the VSF. Seems like it has some great improvements. The one issue which I haven't heard addressed is the bezel click action. I have a few different GMTs that I've modified with 11 series crystal retention rings which helps tremendously.

My thoughts are the same The VSF does look to have maybe more pluses than the Clean used in comparison, however maybe @steve_theonewatches could confirm if the Clean is one of their latest models or an older one, Im pretty sure some models do have some different parts used from time to time when stock might be low so some Clean's or other brands might be sub par to their normal offerings depending on the if demand and stock didn't work out when being built.

The Gen look pretty battered but you can see the lip on the bezel is more pronounced but that the clean an VSF do have a small lip compared to the older versions.

Id be inclined to try a VSF if they did come as tidy as these unless like you say this is a show piece launch where it shows how good they can be but production models might make use of what parts they have available at time of building.

Looks good though and some of the shots the bezel insert looks better than the gen. The Gen model looks to be not the latest bezel insert as the 23 on models often have a much darker blue and that looks to be a little lighter, but this just goes to show that even gens have differences.

I had literally placed my order for the BLRO CLEAN version with PT a few days ago only to see the VSF version to literally appear in their product catalogue 2 nights ago.

Given both are the same price and having read the opinions in this thread, Iam now heavily considering to change my order to the VSF as was also recommended by PT this edges it over CLEAN.

So thats what I will do! Im excited, what were the odds of placing the order only to learn of this release?! Once pre-ordered and eventually in my hands I will certainly share pics!

If you get one then post back some user pictures of it the QC ones will be a good start and then some user shots up close so we can all see shots that are not promotional ones as I often fear promo release models may always be the best attention to detail so when comparing against a real world purchase might often be a little misleading but fingers crossed this is what a stock model will be as it ticks quite a few boxes

I'm both a CF and VSF fanboy. I installed a Deep xtal. The magnification seems pretty correct but it seems to me that all the high-end reps (on subs as well) get the typo a bit too ablong (I needed to google that translation) compared to gen.
