Ace240 with 22k Gold rotor VS 3K SC240?

HI guys for my build of the 5712 I was thinking of getting the Ace240 with 22k gold rotor. But I have been warned multiple times, even by ChatGPT not to go with Ace240. I am uncertain why but the reason is that it's unreliable.
Also on here there's nothing solid about how good or bad the Ace 240 is.. though there is one thread about it, it's more of the members having a go at each other.

I wanted to ask you guys what you felt about the 3k SC240? I have heard it's a better option? If someone can shed some light on this please?

"3k sc240"? This doesn't exist, 3KF does not make this caliber.

You have two options for a 240; PPF 240 or an ACE 240 (which even then is just a modified PPF). Although I believe PPM makes a 240 but its only in the 5740 custom build.

The ACE movement has a free sprung balance like the gen. In addition to being a PITA to regulate, the components used in the ACE balance (notably the hairspring stud and the eccentric weights) are poor quality. This results in a movement that has reliability and stability issues. Personally, I'd go with the PPF or the PPM which is basically a PPF with better engravings.

Im fairly sure PPM only has made the perpetual calendar movement (240Q) for 5740. I don't think an ordinary TD will be able to get this you might need to speak to someone like Popup (RC Studio here on RWI)

Chazintime has a 324 movement made by PPM listed though I don't know if it's the same factory.

PPF with mods (engraved plates+gold rotor) it will be good!

This is great to know ...1 year on have you looked into this watch with whats available right now? Would you change anything?
