It can happen but it's rare. More likley that it isn't coming unfortunately. Be sure to go with trusted vendors and take it as a lesson learned.

The broker fee from UPS means Preparing and submitting customs entries, calculating duties and taxes, and facilitating the release of goods by customs authorities. It means they charge to do all of that for you. So we get double fucked without any lube or without any lipstick.

Same things happens here in Germany too, if one imports anything from the US.
But at the end of the day I think 25 USD are bearable.

Not entirely sure. It doesn’t say anywhere, even on my receipt.



I’ve read on a few threads that the TD’s value then around $25-$50, not sure how true that is but the actual tariff fee was $8. The remaining balance was from UPS.

If the tariff itself was $8, then that would track with a 30% tariff of a $26 stated value. I'm glad it made it through safely

Supposed to be getting it tomorrow. Just passed Alaska and customs. I would advise anyone who has to pay the tariff not to pay it until it passes customs on the US side first, or until the package is delivered. If you pay the tariff right away you risk the package getting seized because it still has to go through customs again. Just a heads up.
