When it comes to a @Belkin12 build, one thing’s always the same — you simply can’t wait. So while I’m still waiting for my PAM 232 to arrive few weeks ago, I went ahead and ordered another piece I’ve always loved: the Panerai Ref. 6154, also known as the "Rolerai".

To be clear, this isn’t a rep — it’s a custom build, and quite different from the mythical Rolerai in many ways. Since Belkin12 no longer works with the Cortébert 540, I opted for a Unitas 6497, paired with some "creative" engravings.

When I opened the parcel this morning, I genuinely said to myself, "Wow!" Too good to be true.

This thing is fantastic
47mm kills it for me but still I love it

47mm can be a bit of a downer for someone with a smaller wrist. Surprisingly though, when you put it side by side with an IWC 43mm Chrono, it doesn’t look that much bigger. I think you could definitely pull off a Rolerai or any Radiomir — just maybe not the Fiddy, since that one’s seriously chunky.

I have a Belkin in 44mm
The green Destro one

I love it but the occasions to wear it are few.
It barely fits under my suit and shirt.

In Summer holidays when I am finally in casual wear, the leather is not the best option

I must have drafted the sales form at least 5 times. Took the pics, looked at the fantastic craftsmanship of Belkin, put the watch back in the box and scrapped the form 🤣

You’re into Daytonas, right? I remember you have a 126500. What do you think about the APSF 26240 chrono? I think it’s one of the best summer watches. Looks great with a polo or anything casual.

It’s a BTF116500 that I have
Our dear friend Storm. convinced me that the 126500 was not as good…I did not fully agree but I must say that the 11 is really special

I am not a super fan of AP in general plus I don’t want to wear an obvious rep at work. I don’t lie about it but I don’t draw attention to my watches anyway.

The more I read about B12 builds the more I want to order one, thanks for piquing my interest @Maximillian.
The movement looks better than the 618 replica River has on offer at the moment.

@Karbon74 I’m now following you in case you change your mind on listing you 44mm build.

Trust me on this.

The process of designing what you dream of, and see him make it come to life is priceless.
Plus his « work in progress » pics are absolutely fabulous. It would be a shame for you to miss that experience
