Well I posted a while back that this year I have a load of big bills so watch buying was on hold. But then one of my dream gen ones was on UK ebay and I kept thinking for a few days. Checked it last week and no bids so I did a one off bid thinking some one else would outbid me.
But no so I have a hardly worn gen Swiss Davosa Ternos Professional 42mm 500m HEV Ceramic Bezel Automatic Watch. For the grand sum of £460.62
It got a ETA 2824-2 movement and is running like a dream.

Well packed

I'm drooling

Has the box

Looking good so far

Even has a wet suit extension in the clasp.

I've wound it and set the time and will see how it goes over the next few days

Right I've been wearing it since I got it and here are a few things about it. It's gaining around 2 to 3 seconds a day, a bit lighter then my rep DSSD. Not sure as I don't have a small weigh gauge. its 42mm bezel and 16mm thick. My DSSD is 43mm bezel and 17.9mm thick.
The bezel is firm to turn and the groves could do with being cut deeper. One good thing is the bezel dot is small and set in so can't catch on anything.
The crown is large and screws in very well. The strap has small screws which can be fiddley to use and the catch is a very basic design but works ok.
I did some research on Devosa watch's and they make a large selection of divers and dress watch's. One good thing is very well priced. The most expensive one is under £2500. Theres not much information on the movements, most seem to be ETA and a few have 68 hr movements fitted.
I'm happy with this one and next year my look at their EVO range

‘I’ve never seen this level of halios since my days in the Baltic. Man those ladies could drink. We can try an autodromo of formex, but I have to warn you- this sort of thing isn’t always farer than non treatment. My God, the nodos goes all the way from your Dan Henry to my nurses hands. Dammit man, if you gave it to my nurse, now I’ve got it!’

The pills were no good, we’ve moved onto elixirs. Turns out the twelve steppers were wrong- chemically speaking, alcohol IS a solution.
