New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

The dial is made from a genuine watch, even replicated the two protruding places on the edge of dial...LOL

And the 4401 movement is made well, chronograph with flyback and date, more beautiful than the 4302 super clone movement.

Case and bracelet are ready, looks like promised. The bracelet is from the same factory as original JF/ARF, the thickness without rubber ring is 12.3mm, genuine watch thickness is 12.4mm.

If it's ok for you to have such shitter level quality on your rotor all G mate, and for the bracelet, you're just lucky and i really hope it won't break like multiple buds reported here on rwi and on others places.

Of course, that's ok for me, as I wear my watch and rarely look at the back with a magnifying glass ;-)
Seriously: Of course it's a flaw, but due to the structure and colour of the rotor, it really isn't visible to the naked eye on this model. That's high level nitpicking ;-)

I ordered mine a few days after you and had to greenlight a pretty borderline QC with things misaligned everywhere to just get it into the hands of my local watchsmith. On the final leg of delivery with a local courier.. any day now

I ordered mine a few days after you and had to greenlight a bad QC, just to get one in my hands. On the final leg of its journey from China with my local courier.

My contact won’t supply me with anything if it has anything wrong so I’m pretty lucky that way and always gets the watch in stock for QC in 3 or 4 days from date of order.

Well, whether this is an ‘issue’ is in the eye of the beholder. On the ceramic model, the rotor is brushed black/grey and you need very good eyes and the right light to make out the lettering at all - let alone the font used ;-)
And I've never really understood the bracelet thing either. Mine doesn't cause any problems.

Popping back in to say my ceramic has been daily worn all week again and no issues. Want to people to understand if it makes it to you intact odds are you will be ok.

Heart goes out to the people with worse luck. Just dont want this issue to be blown out of proportion. Im leaning more towards a shipping issue.

I've seen ceramic bracelet with chipped stuff and broken. But at the same time otherwise, as indicated, many members have also had no issues with the ceramic.

My guess is that the process of cooking the ceramic at 1,100 celsius, if the maunufacturing QC is not strict, can cause internal defects, some bracelets will be brittle, some will be strong. Just a luck factor.

Just received the yellow gold 26240. It is a fun watch to wear as it is not the typical stainless steel Royal oak. Yellow gold model of Royal oak is hard to come by. I don’t wear watches when going out. But I enjoy wearing them at home…sometimes on both wrists. So gold doesn’t bother me for that purpose.

I just got my 2nd round of green dial. I think its much better, the only complaint and being overly fussy, is that the Audemars logo is sitting a little low in the box, as I have seen other QC's that were more centred, but its OK.

For example, this is the old QC against this new one, so you can see it sits a little lower.
