Hello!

looking for a good 111 at the moment and since Noob is gone, i got some pictures from one of our TDs, no QC pictures, just samples.

HWF 111 with V-Serial
Hands and Dial Lume Color looks almost identical and no floating O, that‘s a plus. But the color of the writing looks a bit to dark, almost like the lume. Shouldnt it be more „whiteish“?

Any further comments?

Thank You!

Cutouts for numerals are huge, aim for a XF PAM 111 or Noob v12 (different to old noob)

Trusty Time still have Noob V12 last I check...

Wow! Thank you for the lead. If this is the best version, then I may order this weekend.

The Noob from Trustytime also appears to be a new batch, as the hands are whiter than the numbers. I recently ordered one, and the QC photos confirm this.

would you mind posting a picture? or is this not allowed? i am curious about the numeral cut outs. if they are to thick or not. a franken built with HWF Lume and Noob Dial would be great :D

Since I have already approved the QC photos and the watch has been shipped, the photo should be allowed.

Hmm, it looks good, but it's definitly not a (old) Noob! @Reaps could give some advice.

I added all 3 watches side by side quick and dirty. Left is "my" HWF 111, next is you Noob 111 and on the right is a QC of a Noob V12 directly from Trustys QC Page

Is the HWF the best pick in terms of the dial and hands color? based form the photo it looks more consistent overall.

I'd like to know what left-over noob parts are actually used in these current 'noob' offerings from the TD's....

For those wanting a nice 111, I'd still recommend camping out in the various M2M sections for a true noob (preV12) or a more recent XF, which I believe can still be found new.

Yet the XF has a greenish lume. Every recent version has it‘s flaws

At one point around 2021/2022, the HWF VXXX / 2000 Pam111s said the case number was OP7060. That is not a case number ever used for PAM111s (I think I read OP7060 is a Carbo Tech model). I believe the last case number for the PAM111 was OP6727. HWF also used the same back with the OP7060 and VXXXX/2000 for other watches with display backs.

I thought v.12 was the last pre-raid version of the 111 from Noob. Curious about why it is better to look for a pre v.12 noob M2M? FWIW, for April, Trusty has ”Noob v. 12” PAM111s on sale for $248 while they last. Was told they are assembled from same parts supplied by same parts makers as Noob v.12. Could be true … or not.

Here is a link to a discussion of the "V.2" HWF V serial no PAM111:
